Someone might've asked this already, but the little blue water drop. What's that do/for?

The water drop is to blur something, the more you run over the spot with it, it will blur:3

This is very helpful! But I do have a quick question, I've seen people save an oekaki and put it in their post, but it's smaller than the actual well oekaki picture. This sounds confusing but do you get what I mean?

What about setting the layer to multiply for shading? I didn't see that.

Also, on the 2nd page of oekaki drawing, you have a smaller one. You can also update it on tinypic/photobucket (whateva) and make it smaller.

You make the special layers for shading, take the dark color you want (you can use black/grey, or any other color.) and try to stay inside of lines while drawing the shading on the places you want. You lower the layer opacity and that's it! The person you linked to made highlights aswell. They are made all the same way, but just with lighter colors.

For beginners: take white color and make a "dot". If you're little more experienced in oekaki, feel free to add the shading and highlights. You can play around until you get what you wanted. Hope it helps! ^^
