The Lonely Forest.
A mysterious realm where supernatural creatures dwell...

Elves
Stronger, quicker and more beautiful than human beings, these pointy-eared creatures are divided in four main types: dark elves, mountain elves, forest elves and drows. Generally, dark elves have dark hair, pale skin and light-colored eyes, whereas drows have dark skin, white hair and red eyes, mountain elves have reddish hair and gray or light-colored eyes and forest ones have fair hair and green or blue eyes. Cross-type elves are not rare, unlike elven/human half-bloods. Elves have a great lifespan, and might live eternally if not wounded or brokenhearted.

Dragon Spirits
These rare entities were once living dragons, sent back to the realm of the living after the massacre that killed most dragons aeons ago. They take on a humanoid form, although they share remarkable similarities with elves, such as their pointy ears, and also keep some dragon-like traces, namely scaly patches, generally located on their necks, backs or below their ears. These entities have great power over magic, especially over shadows, fire and wind.

Ice Spirits
Ice spirits are humans or elves who died from a broken heart, and whose spirits got stuck in-between the world of the living and the world of the dead. They roam the world in a humanoid form (most look like albino humans), most trying to gt revenge or to find their loved ones, but few manage to retain their sanity.

I think this goes without an explanation...

Shuras
While shuras aren't exactly a race by themselves (most of their members are forest or mountain elves and humans, and some few ice spirits), these are nature protectors, born with this characteristic, who have their own unique totem animals (Elanor's totem is a white wolf, Shyr). A shura's mind is almost like a physical place. They can get lost in there sometimes, especially if they haven't controlled their totem animal. This stage takes years to complete, and many shuras never actually bond with their totems. After a shura has found their totem (it generally reveals itself to them; afterwards it is common that the shuras wear some symbol of their totem, as Elanor's wolf fang necklace), they must die physically to obtain immortality, a precious gift especially to the human shuras, but also to the elves, granting them healing capacities. However, shuras can still die of a broken heart.

LF1: Basically, Elanor (the forest king's daughter, who had ran away) met an assassin (Lolimar) and his apprentice (Ragne). Lolimar tried to kill Elanor, but Ragne saved her and they ran off. Then two elven twins tells Elanor that her dad was killed and she decides to take revenge. Ragne goes with her. After many adventures, and with Ragne's help, Elanor kills Bane, the traitor. They go to their new home together. Ragne finished his assassin training and Elanor becomes a shura. They meet a girl called Alura, who becomes Elanor's friend. Later on, a bounty hunter called Jun kills Elanor, therefore unknowingly making her immortal. Later, when Elanor is attacked by a shadow wolf, Ragne saves her, but they have a fight and break up.

LF2: Elanor tries to kill herself, seeing as elves, even shuras, can die of a broken heart, but is rescued by her friend Alura and an ice spirit. She meets Ragne again, and they make up, but soon a she-elf from Ragne's past, the seductive Faquerian, reappears and makes everything crumble again. Elanor manages to hold on to her sanity, and meets the head shura (Brie) once again to seek for guidance. But an evil ice spirit, Kateryne, wants to take revenge on Elanor, since it was her father who ordered her death. She pulls Elanor into the Land of Ashes, the Underworld where the dead wander, and Shyr (Elanor's totem wolf), Ragne, Brie and Alura, as well as the assassin Leonardo are pulled in as well.

LF3: Somehow, Elanor and the others have freed themselves from the Land of Ashes and Kateryne's clutches. Their lives have continued, as some took on apprentices and others used this time to learn more and become even more powerful. Five years later, though, their paths cross once again.

The last few years changed her a lot. Once a friendly, outgoing elf with a passion for learning new things and seemingly endless energy, Elanor has become more reserved and cold over the years, greatly due to all the years spent alone in the forest, away from everyone else. Still, she is kind and open-hearted to her close friends. She is a good strategist and a bit of a loner.

Personality: Alonso hasn't quite settled in to any certain personality. He can be cunning, devious, thirty, charming, angry, kind, brutal and gentle all the the same time. This is one of the things he needs to figure out about himself while of on this mission. He's a natural born politician as well as a natural born thief. one trait is always evident however, Alonso is very charismatic. He naturally gets along with pretty much everyone, and even has a sense of charm to his enemies. He is very keen to following Ezio's rules exactly on this mission. Don't befriend the locals, don't befriend any of the animals. Things are strange there and they do not need to be brought back into the rest of the Earth. And, keep your horse alive. He'll be communicating with both Altair and Ezio via pidgin letters or goo sold eagle letters if the message is urgent. Alonso adapts to environment well, but he has no idea what he's got himself into.

Bio: After the mission's completion in the Lonely Forest, Ezio returned to Florence and continued his life as an Assassin. He then travelled to Rome and began building the Brotherhood. Meanwhile, Altair assisted him as his second correspondent from the Middle East, but vowed never to return to the Forest. When word came of some conflict in the "cursed magical hellhole" as Altair referred to it, Ezio decided to send his most promising apprentice, Alonso. Alonso grew up similar to Ezio, an aristocrat turned assassin, both orphaned in their teens, and both have hatred towards the Templar Order. However, Alonso was not rich by blood, but by being a skilled politician and for a time, leader of rebels. Joining the Assassins was a natural thing to do.

He is a skilled swordsman, and unlike Ezio, he has street sense from growing up as a homeless thief. He knows various nooks and crannies everywhere in the city and he's very good at picking up secrets from anyone he meets (and eavesdrops on). He's adept at parkour and his favorite pastime is leaping from rooftop to rooftop while escaping guards whenever he stole something. He's also very good at killing silently and sometimes better than Ezio himself. Ezio has big plans for him, but always considered the Lonely Forest a place that influences many decisions and made him able to accept numerous unusual things. So, he was sent to LF from Roma with a horse, a pigeon to carry letters, and his supplies.

Personality: Considered one of the greatest renaissance men in history, Leonardo is surprisingly humble and often in his own little world. He's kind and somewhat cowardly, though he boasts some of the greatest inventions of all time. He's a simple man with a simple personality that his totem, Arno the Fallow Deer, shares.

Bio: Since the events of five years past, Leonardo has been steadily working to improve the Assassin's weapon arsenal and inventing various other things to keep Ezio and Altair off his back. Ezio offered to kill him to make him immortal, but Leonardo isn't quite sure he even wants to live forever. He lives in a self built studio off a deer trail deep in the forest, far form the eyes of the passerby. He knows a good chunk of the forest and has extensive research and studies on most of the species there. He's constantly writing in his notebook and chattering away at Arno, who still could care less about all the things Leo knows. He's to assist Alonso in his mission as well as show him how the forest must be preserved an cared for.

Personality: Cheerful and laid-back, Mori never seems to care about anything or anyone. No situations fazes him, nothing can wipe the smirk from his face. He's incredibly charming and always willing to flirt, no matter how inappropriate it may be. However, despite his beguiling appearance, Mori is arrogant, completely without morals and capable of extreme cruelty. There are very few people he will actually confess to caring about. He has no love for humans and tries to avoid contact with them as much as possible; being around them is one of the few things that can actually make him uneasy.
Mori is always looking out for himself first. While not cowardly, by a long shot, Mori will only get into dangerous situations if there's some sort of profit for him.

Personality: Caele is quiet and shy for the most part. He is deeply mistrustful of anyone he doesn't know, though his reasons for this are something he can't really explain. Despite this innate mistrust of strangers, when it comes to anything else Caele seems naive, innocent even. He approaches almost everything with curiosity and wonder, like he's never seen it before. He can spend hours examining the patterns of vines on a leaf or the way light reflects on water. He can remain perfectly still indefinitely and, when he's not concentrating, can forget to breathe; being already dead, it doesn't cause him any harm but it can be quite unsettling to people who don't know that. Caele always keeps his emotions carefully in check. The only time he looses control is when someone he cares about is threatened. Although he's so far managed to avoid the insanity that overcomes so many spirits, he can seem a little vague at times. He can even become incorporeal or invisible on occasion. In the last five years, however, he's been finding it harder and harder to fight off the madness.
Bio: Caele doesn't remember much from before his death; the memories became blurred as he got older. He knows he was the son of a nobleman, and he's fairly sure he had a brother. However, he has no idea how he died. Whenever he tries to conjure up the memory of his death there's just...nothing, except an uneasy feeling that he can't quite place. He's unsure whether he actually wants to find out the circumstances of his death, or seek out his family. Caele had never met another ice spirit before Brie. In fact, he spent most of his time before meeting the others alone.
Caele wasn't there when Elanor, Ragne, Brie and Alura were pulled into the Land of Ashes and for a long time, assumed they were dead.

Personality:
Sain is really the strong, silent type. He only speaks when he has something to say; mindless yapping really gets on his nerves. Because of this, he is quiet at the oddest of moments, leading many people who just meet him to believe that he is mute. Sain's absolutely silent, though, only when around strangers. After a little, if he decides that he likes you, he'll start talking.
Despite Sain's apparent standoffishness, he's quite kind to those he cares about. He might be a bit more subtle than the next guy, but he's protective of those who he feels deserve it. It takes a while, though, for him to establish any form of trust with anyone, so be patient with him. He's a good guy, but not very comfortable around others.

Sain's antisocial personality is mainly due to two things. His love for nature, and religion. He believes that all his magic is stemmed from the nature around him, and that spirituality and spells are a way to enhance this. Of course, nothing it really proven, but Sain's amazing adeptness at magic causes little doubt for him in others. He frequently immerses himself in a large tome he carries with him; a fancy looking volume with silver designs and a round, cloudy blue stone on the worn leather cover. Never interrupt him while he's reading.
His love for nature makes him rather antisocial because he has an immediate dislike for those who do not care for plants, animals and trees, which unfortunately, is a large number of people. He also prefers the company of nature over humans or elves, so... his relationships with others are a bit rocky.

Personality:
Outspoken, slightly tomboyish and very active; always ready to fight. Sienna never trusts strangers right away and prefers to be on her own and learn by herself, which is one of the reasons to her slow progress as a shura. She believes that you can't learn unless you experience it yourself. Secretly, she tends to feel lonely, and usually stays around other people, although she never really lets them in; she keeps trying to build up the courage to go on and make new friends but always ends up giving it up. Sienna is a perfectionist and she's very hard on herself; if anything ever goes wrong, she's bound to blame herself for it. She dislikes and secretly envies elves a lot; her temper is very short and she snaps easily, although afterwards she usually feels bad about it. She's a good liar and often uses that skill to get herself out of any complicated situations that she might have gotten into.
Bio:
Her mother was a young village woman whose family owned a rather large farm, where Sienna learned to ride and deal with animals; she never knew her father. At the age of thirteen, she found out she was a shura, and left to the Lonely Forest, where she learned to live alone while searching for her true totem. She had the vivid vision of a pine marten when she was about fifteen, but never actually managed to communicate with it yet - her greatest wish is to bond with her totem and become a complete shura, immortal and able to stand shoulder to shoulder with her elven peers.

Bio:
Ragne is my oldest character. He has been around ever since 2009, and I am not yet tired of letting his legacy continue one. He was trained once by the great Lollimar and I hope for all of you new members that you want to maybe have him become a mentor.

Kaja is a being of revenge. She wants more than anything to make all of the people who sent her race into extinction to pay. Because of this she is very much against humans for the most part. Plus, out of nature, she used to be easy going, but now she is extremely problematic and sometimes it seems as though she is trying to stir the pot. Kaja can't be completely blamed though, she has had a pretty rough life...

Bio:
Kaja'e entire race was whipped out like nothing. As soon as humans began hunting for the fun of it, it was all over. Unlike others Kaja was a loner. She had no lover to hold her back and she lived in the icy depths of a cave. But although she was one of the last of her kind to live, even she had to eat. After a week of hiding she came out and spread her wings in the warm sun. As she took flight before she knew it an arrow had pierced through her wing and seared in pain. She tried to stifle a growl but couldn't. Never being the kind to fight she tried to keep flying. But soon a giant net was flying through the air, then she plummeted. Right to the surface to see 30 men all eyes glittering above her. She tried to act still, helpless but even she knew nothing could save her now. After hearing their bark like voices and horrendous laughs she saw one pull a sword. Suddenly she was thrashing to get out, but followed by only more laughing. then they all brought out swords and dug in. Her warm blood blotted the snow as she let out cries of agony. She tried to breath fire but she was never a fire breather, she was only in tune with the healing of water. She soon blacked out and eventually entered a world of gold.
"Remember young one, what has happened to you.. How you have died. Remember now what you must do in a new life.." she voice faded as soon as she had tried to place it. Suddenly only one word came to mind.
Revenge.
