"Too late~" Skye whispered with a cheery, evil tone, pulling away from the human's flesh, only just realizing he had bitten him on the opposite side of Jacob's view. He stepped away, his work done. The look of horror and fear in the other Lithius' eyes was memorable, and he wasn't going to forget it, ever. This was perhaps the most amusing day of his rather short life. He was glad to see August walk away, uninterested: one less person he would have to fight when he left.

All Ari could manage was a small yelp before sinking to the ground in a small ball.Breathe Ari.Just.Breathe. he told himself, over and over into his mind.Pain wasn't something he was use to.In fact, he was a baby when it came to pain.All he could do right now, was not ask someone to kill him.He managed to reach behind him, and pull the cloak hood over his head.He wanted to be home, in his bed listening to the familiar things of the bad side of town.Why did he ever come to the park this morning? Why....

Jacob dejectedly walked over to Ari and crouched next to him, putting his hand on Ari's shoulder and closing his eyes. "I'm sorry, Ari..." He murmured, then looked up at Skye. Pain was clear in Jacob's eyes. "You're one sick b*st*rd, Skye. You know that?" He growled weakly. Looking back at Ari, he bit the inside of his lip until he tasted blood. 'This is my fault. I shouldn't have left him alone...' He thought, suddenly hating himself more then usual.

Ari gritted his teeth together and gave a small whimper.He tried to tell Jacob that it wasn't his fault and not to worry about him, but it came out slurred and odd....Ari wasn't going to try again, too much work.All his focus was on not exploding.If this was what Jacob had meant by worse, he had been so right.He managed to open his eyes and looked at Jacob, his eyes pleading with him for death.Ari wrapped his arms around himself, rocking slowly back and forth.

"I am? Interesting..." Skye said, raising an eyebrow at the insult. Already his interest was fading again, not really caring bout the result of his experiment. With a curious look he prodded Ari's huddling form with his shoe, observing the pained child with an amusement. Who knew it hurt that much: he had been unconscious while he had changed onto Lithius. A gave a small smirk to Jacob, before stepping back.
"Tell me if he lives kay?" He was too lazy to stick around to watch the result, and he wanted to hunt again. It appeared Skye's attention span was still ever-shortening.

August, being the wonderful person he was, wondered around until he found a park bench. He sat down and huffed, pulling his cloak tighter around him. The soft light purple cloth that lined the inside of the cloak was all he could see for a minute before fixing the hood. He looked up at the sky and set his lips in a hard line. Remembering his reason for being a Lithius always brought out the depressed side of Auggie. He let out a sift sigh and shrunk back into his cloak, momentarily enjoying the warmth it offered. His black eyes scanned the area around him, making sure no one was around. He didn't like people to see the... Weaker side of himself.

Jacob looked sadly at Ari, knowing the look. He bit the inside of his lip harder. He couldn't bring himself to kill Ari. So he just lifted Ari softly and hugged him close, offering confort. "You'll feel better soon, I promise." He murmured softly. He didn't know how long the change would take for Ari, but he hoped it wouldn't be long. Seeing Ari like this was truthfully killing him, though he wasn't going to show it. His eyes turned to glare hatefully at Skye. "How about I let him kill you if he does?" He growled, eyes narrowing.
