Nura let out a whine "Hey! Shaaaaaadow! What happened to fighting?" he growled softly "I wanted to see some action!"

Sheik's eyes widened, and he stared at Luhua. Did she really like him? Really? He wasnt sure he could believe it. "What is there to like about a stupid, blind leopard like me" he muttered, to see if she really did like him. I mean, he IS blind, and he didnt make the smartest decisions. And not to mention that both of them combined made him a horrible hunter.

Luhua flicked her ears, managing to gather what Sheik had said. The female hid her smile, nochalantly licking her chest, before raising her head again. "W-what if I did like you too......?" she asked, talking low, head ducked and eyes averted to the ground.

Hyou decided not to answer, though she loved the compliments. Her mind flew back to a week ago, pretty much after a day she left Ruio. She shuddered when the loud roar of her opponent rang through her head.

Shadow hissed at Nura and said " Young Blood, Not all thing can be resovled in shed of blood." He looked at thining falling snow and said " How old are you Nura."

Ruio watched her shake and said in worried voice " Hyou." He sat up from his spot beside her and yawned " When you can please go into the cave."

Nura pinned his ears, pouting. "Uhm......i dunno. Like.....seven months?" he tilted his head. How old WAS he?

Luhua flattened her ears. "Hey, don't start sounding like Luckas. " The word Luckas came out like she had a horrible taste in her mouth. "Listen, Sheik. You can see. You're not blind. You're not stupid, don't let anyone tell you differently. From what I know, you're actually very smart." she said in a firm voice, looking straight at Sheik.

Sheik blinked, then grinned, unable to hide it. She really had liked him "Thanks, Luhua...but you have no clue what very smart is if you're calling me it~" he joked, flicking his tail, his EYES gleaming. It had been a long time since he had been like this with another female...suddenly, he felt a flash of fear. The cub. Luhua. They could be taken from him in a flash, just like his old family....

Luhua smiled, then laughed. "You know what I meant. So, now you believe me?" she asked, tilting her head to the side slightly. Glancing towards the cub, she smiled softly, before her gaze moved back to Sheik, seeing fear clouding his eyes.

Sheik shook his head, clearing the thoughts away. He knew they would only show up later. He looked at Luhua, then to the cub. He pricked his ears, then heard the cubs small, soft breathing. He looked at Luhua again, his eyes soft. "Luhua...what are we going to do.." any fool would think he was just talking about the cub. But Luhua should have seen what he meant, and knew he was talking about EVERYTHING. The poachers. Luckas. The harsh winter, with the endless snow and smaller prey. And, of course, the fact he was half blind so he couldnt hunt as well.
