Jacob blinked once. "Eh.. Yeah. I guess." He replied stupidly, then mentally facepalmed. "Unless you want me to walk you home? It would be.. Safer..." He didn't get his hopes up about that, though. He blushed ever-so-slightly (Meaning he was bright red xD) and twirled his lip ring around. His eyes secretly ran over Ari again. Being in the shadow of his cloak hood had it's advantages, he must admit.

As much as the thought appealed to Ari, he wasn't sure if that was a good idea.He began doing ASL to himself, signing random things that were on his mind to calm him down.He looked back up at Jacob, slightly disappointed that his face was covered by the cloak's hood. "You...could.If you wanted.It's just....." I don't want to make even more of a fool of myself than I already have.Plus your one of them.I like you, but I still don't trust you.Nothing personal.It's just that paranoia that I have..... he thought to himself, also signing that to himself.Like Ari was going to tell Jacob that, though.He searched for some words that wouldn't be a total lie. "I don't want the town to drive you crazy.I don't live in a heavily populated area, obviously since there isn't many of us left, but it has..... enough people."

Jacob, who just so happened to be able to read people like a book, frowned. "You don't totally trust me." He said flatly. "It's fine. Do what you want. I'm headed into town anyway. Need to find Antonio, Skye, and August before they get themselves into trouble." He slipped his gloved hands into the pockets of his cloa and walked past Ari toward's town, his voice and face held absolutely no emotion. Hunting sounded like a very good idea right now, so he zoned in on the town, listening for any sounds of prey, other then Ari, of course.

Now Skye was bored again, as usual. After hunting, he generally was: the lack of screams, action, and food was suddenly incredibly dull. He had walked off away from Toni, in an epic quest for something interesting. There was no sign of the human boy from earlier, much to his annoyance: Skye hadn't forgotten him. But he knew it would be best to wait awhile, until he could be sure Jacob was elsewhere. Maybe he would even go search during the day, if he could find utterly nothing to do. Biting or killing the kid would keep things interesting for more than a little while.
But now he was stuck pacing around the town, hoping that the setting sun would hurry up and disappear. Then Skye could traumatize the city as much as he wished.

Way to go Ari!Shoulda either shut up, or walked away while you coulda.Ari's face fell as Jacob walked away, and he cursed to himself.Ari wanted to go after Jacob, but he just shook his head and walked near Jacob,towards town and the tiny,dingy apartment he called home.It was dark, but Ari didn't care.He thought about slipping the cloak on, and he paused.He went ahead and put it on, glad that Jacob was around his height.He heard the distant sound of another scream, and closed his eyes wincing.He took a deep breath, then smiled.The cloak still smelled like Jacob.Ari then turned and headed towards the park.He wasn't exactly ready to go back just yet.He had things to ponder over first.

Jacob stopped near the edge of town and cornered a young girl. He frowned and picked her up by the throat, ignoring her screams of fear and sinking his fangs into her neck. A moment later, he dropped the lifeless body and wiped his mouth before turning away and walking back toward the park. He saw Skye and narrowed his eyes slightly, knowing that if Skye saw him, Ari would be in trouble. He grit his teeth slightly and looked around for any other Lithius. Finding none, he went to the park and ended up killing another human. This time an elderly man who seemed to be dying of cancer. It was a mercy killing, he thought to himself, leaving the scene.

Luck is almost as strange a force as boredom: it came and went at random times, always showing utterly randomly, if much appreciated. Like at that moment, when Skye's boredom-glazed eyes caught sight of a figure wearing a Lithius's cloak, but was not one of them. Much to his instant delight, he knew who that was: that irritating human boy from before. Instantly he pulled his hood off from his eyes, hoping the sun was set enough that he could last awhile with his vision unimpaired. Silently he walked up behind the boy, not really caring why he was in the park still, placing a gentle hand on his shoulder.
"I thought you were going home?" Skye asked in a quiet, happy voice, a grin spreading across his face.

Ari's heart caught in his throat and he jumped.Ari did not want to turn around, hoping that if he didn't then it wouldn't be real.He just froze trying to control his hyperventilating.Ari should have taken up Jacob's offer.He just hoped Jacob wouldn't find him if he ended up dead.He hoped Jacob would forget all about him.His voice was icily calm, though his face showed his extreme fright. "And I thought you were with your babysitter, hunting or something of that sort?" Ari began signing again quickly to himself, wishing that Skye would be full and go away.He tried to will him away, and when that didn't work he closed his eyes.D*mn Ari.Your just one big screw up, you know that?
