Alura looked around, and saw a silvery-orange aura. She climbed off of the horse and went to investigate.(The aura is Lero...)

Lero, startled, arched his back and hissed as the girl came near her. "Don't." He growled, arching his neck so he could see her better. "Who are you?" He growled, a puff of smoke escaping his mouth.

Altair shifted, his fingers twitching as they followed behind the group. Something still felt off to him, but he couldn't place it. He made sure to be about a yard back from the three, and Ezio casually strolled beside him. Altair knew him better than this however and took a careful notice of his tightened wrist. Ezio whistled a dark tune, the one that Altair was pained to hear.
Death's dark grasp will hold you close,
Send the poison away.
Cold water kills,
just as we.

Bladed waves of trickry
and fortunes long fortold.
Take notice like the eagles
before all hope is lost.

The song of a death of an assassin. Altair's stomach twisted at the low notes and felt his blood run cold.

Avalbane heard the tune and she smiled and turned to Ezio. "Come. Let us play a song. I grow tired of this silence." She said softly, grinning. Kenski glanced at her, eyebrows raised. Sicarius rolled his eyes and slumped further, walking slightly faster. "You whistle a tune, and I will sing." She said to Ezio.

"Oh my gosh!" Alura exclaimed. She backed up, and notice the outline of a dragon. "Vaёli! I mean no harm." She said calmly, using the mountain elf word for peace, "Alura. It means elf peace." She sat down on the drying dirt, and started to sing a calming song many elves knew.
"The rain has moved on,
And left a new day.
Nothing seems to move, everthing is still.
It's just a perfect day.

The shadows and light,
that move with the wind.
Hidden violets bloom splashed with summer spray.
Another perfect day." She stoped singing, wondering if she should continue. Her friends and family often said she sang with a voice as beautiful as a dove.((The song is Perfect day. I'll get a link later.))

Lero listened to the song and his eyes softened slightly. "Dear child I know you mean no harm. You just startled me." He explained, coming into full view for her too see his black scales and blue eyes. "My name is Lero. My partner's, name is Wolf." Lero said calmly, smiling at the elf girl.

Ezio's whistling stopped short at Avalbane's words, he hadn't even realized he was whistling aloud. He flicked a glance to Altair and started whistling again another sadish tune but it had a flick of somethign inside it and he watched Avalban, waiting for her to start singing.

Altair's eyes narrowed. I hate my life.

Alura smiled. "Lero. I know you look magnificent. Though I cannot see properly." She said, pointing to her cloudy grey eyes. She continued singing, feeling happy.

It's another perfect day." She finished the song. "Are you a fire breather?"

Avalbane opened her mouth and the sound that came out was just enchanting. She started with a slow and eerie hum that slowly formed into words. Her voice was strange. It was eerie, but beautiful and all the animals suddenly quieted to listen. Kenski flinched and he drew away from Avalbane, his hand clenching. Sicarius winced and he walked faster, moving faster than them as if to escape her voice.

Lero smiled softly. "Your voice is beautiful, little elf." He breathed. He smiled and he hummed along with her. "Yes, dear one. I am a fire-breather. Did you now, my partner used to be blind, before I restored her sight?" Lero hummed, joyful. Then he frowned and a sorrow like no other crashed upon him. "But it will not last. Maybe a few years, it will, but by then, the effect of my magic will fade and she will become blind once more. I kept that fact hidden from her, afraid to take this beautiful world away from her." he whispered.

Ezio stared on ahead, matching her voice with his own harmony. Something scared him about it though and he couldn't hake the thought. His mind screamed at him to turn away and be rid of them altogether, but his body wanted to stay and listen. His intsicts fled from him and his thoughts were whipping by like rags in the wind. Faces, blood, and other strange things came after him and he felt himself shiver. At the sound of a blade unsheathing he abruptly stoppe dhis whistling, turning abruptly and crouching as if he'd found an intruder. Altair had stopped and both of his wrist blades were extended. The song seemed to have no effect on him and Ezio couldn't seem to figure out why. Ezi found that he had unsheathed his shortblade and quickly returned it, his breathig fast.

Altair's thoughts twisted menacingly at the sound of the elf girl's singing. It felt as though hell and heaven were meeting together and he could only watch. He had such control over his mind however that he suppressed the thoughts and saw the other two demons flinching away as well. Ezio seemed to be slowing as well and Altair could practically see him faltering menatlly. That was the final blow. He unsheathed both wrist blades.
"Demon girl." His voice was almost a growl. "You'd better start fessing up to whatever is going on here. I can see your tension with the other members of your group. You are making Ezio act like a blind deer on a wolf's trail." AT this Ezio bristled, but he relaxed as he realized that Altair was right. "Explain." Altair hissed, raising a blade warningly.
