@Coco-Kitten: It blew me out of the water. Once again, it was lovely <3

These lights, these lights
They ruin my night sky
Unable to cover them with a blanket of stars
I act like they aren't scars...
These lights, these lights
They do mean no harm, no hurt
Unable to cover them with a sheet of dark
I pretend like they haven't made their mark
Your eyes trace up the constellations, somewhat fogged by the bustling city below you. You don't mind much, it's what you've grown up with. In fact, it's pretty homey and without it the sky would just seem too dastardly and out of reach. Not saying it isn't, just--it would be father than you can fathom. Yet, since your city is yawning below you, it's just there.
Actually your vision is now set on the city. Cars rumble past each other as the clock ticks further into the darkness, soon to lapse into light. Lights from stores, clubs, and franchises flash and twinkle, perhaps even more so then the stars above you.
If you listen closely, you can even hear talking. "I will show you toooooo..." Ignore it is your gut feeling, but somehow you've just got to listen. "My stars and my life is something amazing. You and your city lights haven't got a heartbeat on me......"
Turning around you spot a lanky woman, perhaps in her early twenties, and she's purple.
"Come with me, come with me, then maybe you'll seeeeee..."
