Alex walked up the stairs to the kitchen. he prayed that Allie wasn't cooking. just like her mom she couldn't cook, even if her life depended on it. he made it into the kitchen and poured himself some orange juice and then a thing of cereal boredly. he was wearing a white tank top and flannel bottoms. all his scars popped out on his skin.

Bella awoke and groggily made her way to the kitchen. She regarded Alex coldly and sat down at the table. Her hair was wild and her bicolor eyes shifty.

Alex rolled his eyes and then looked back as two angry girls stormed into the kitchen. Ash hadn't. he shook his head in disaproval as both came in screaming at each other about how Allie had stepped on Joe and about how you dont go in peoples personal space.

“KNOCK IT OFF!” screamed Bella. She needed quiet right now; she’d had disturbing dreams. She pushed a hand through her ragged hair and stared blankly at the table as Ash walked in and raised a confused eyebrow.

Both girls stopped yelling and marched over to the table angry. Joe looked at Ash as he walked in and rolled her eyes. idiot. thats what he was sending her into that room.

Allie too glared at Ash with daggers.

Alex ignored the girls and looked at Bella. "you alright there?" he asked, his eyebrows raising in curiousty. he smiled his charming smile and picked up the remote to the tv. he would put it on soon,

“I’m fine,” lied Bella, gritting her teeth. She hated yelling, but she was good at it; at least everyone was quiet. Except Ash. “What did I do?” he asked innocently, pouring himself a glass of orange juice.

"you told me to go in her room!" "you told her to go in my room" Both Allie and joe both said and overlapped their sentences as they spoke. Joe and Allie went to go sat in the same seat and both fell off. "this is my seat" Joe snarled. "no it's mine" Allie snapped right back. both turned away from each other, arms crossed.

Alex rolled his eyes and turned on the tv. he wanted to hear some news. he deserved to hear some. It had been days, seeing as they'd been out tracking for a while now.

Cautiously, Bella scooted closer to Alex on the couch; his eyes were glowing in the faint light the television cast onto them, and they were so impossibly gold. “So,” she said casually, “please explain what’s happening here.” She tilted her face.

Ash frowned. “Look, guys, unless one of you wants to sleep in my room, then you’re sharing!” he snapped. His silver eyes flashed in the gloomy kitchen. “And Allie, your cooking sucks.” He cracked two eggs into a pan and they began to sizzle as he turned on the stovetop oven.

Joe heard him and was on her toes. "i'll sleep in your room. it's away from that witch!" she said and then looked at Allie with a glare. Allie to glared back and then realized what Dash had said. It took her a minute. "i am not a bad cooker!!" she exclaimed and you could hear the double exclamation.

"in what?" Alex asked turning his head slightly to look at her. He smirked. "whats happening in the news or whats happening with your life and how its about to get very bad?" he teased. he awaited her answer pationtely as his eyes glowed a brilent gold.

Bella felt the sudden urge to punch him in the nose, and made a face. “I mean, what are these from,” she said softly. Bella’s fingers lightly traced along the scars on his shoulders, teasing and featherlight.

Ash groaned. He did not want Joe sleeping in his room; there was only one bed. He slipped the runny eggs onto his plate and wolfed them down hungrily.
