He shook out his fur and got up. He walked to a small stream and looked at his reflection. His tattered dirty brown fur rippled slightly in the wind. "What have I become? I'm just a secluded clump of fur now..." He shook his head

She had seen a brown dot walking into the woods and her ears stood up, looking around she came to all fours and shook out her brown pelt, growling softly as she stepped on a rock she began to trot down and off the rock softly. As she did she sped up on her feet and into a full trot. Following the scent but her foot steps were silent and soft

He had put his front paws in the cool water. He didn't hear Ayame coming as he sat down. The water flowed around his paws

Looking at him she pinned her ears down and smiles softly. Walking forward she came up next to him putting her all black but small paw into the water, next to his. She had to get back into the pack and meeting one wolf after the other would help her
