Max just ignored the girl, sighing. She didn't have to get all mad, he was just upset. It wasn't like he was her enemy all the sudden. Nobody would be happy after being doused in cold water all the sudden. He shook his head and nudged Tempest into a faster pace, ignoring the invitation of the hidden trail.

Koda got herself into a crouch position after jumping the middle rail of the fence. She stayed on one side of the fence while Taz was on the other.

Grace held Charm's reins as the trotted down the trail. The trail came out behind the barn. She slowed her to a walk and dismounted at the barn. She untacked Charm and began to sweep her dandy brush over the mare's shining yet sweaty coat.
