Dejoin wandered back and forth across the lands of the deep green floor, wondering what to do next.
Continue forward I gues-
Just as the wolfs decision was made, a startling deep howl carried across his ears. Dejoin was shocked instantly, as the ringing of the other creatures voice was still deeply pinned on him.
"What the heck was that?"
His mind answered for him to quickly, as he now bore the face of excitement. Someone else is here! Thrilled, but nervous, he anxiously scattered around before sending a long, and loud howl in reply towards the unexpected sound. Dejoins fur tingled goose bumps swelling inside,
Who was it? Where was it? Whatever the answer may be, I'm not alone!

Hungry, Avis decided to go hunt. She found a herd of deer from the air, then folded her wings and plummeted towards them, landing on the back of one. She quickly killed it and began eating. She hadn;t eaten since before the Evil Ones had captured her--they gave her neither food nor water. After she finished, Avis walked off into the woods, leaving the carcass to the ravens. She sniffed the air-there was another near here, not unlike herself. She located the direction from which the scent came and followed it.

Dejoin was shaky with excitement as he waited for a response. However to his greatest disappointment the call was not heard. He made a dash for it, quickly scanning his nose in all directions for anything at all off the usual scent. While he was at it, let out sharp barks constantly, to allow the stranger to now he was here.

Avis, hearing the noise, howled in return. She heard the bushes rustle not far off and sprinted for the sound, alive with the hope that she was not alone after all. She ran under some vines, and before her was a blue and grey wolf. She barked a cautious hello.

Dejoin was taken back as a bright red female wolf creature came from the clearing. His jaws were practicality wide open as he struggled with the soft hello that he got.
"Hi.."
Was all Dejoin answered back, his expression a bit more relaxed, and excited. The female looked mature, and strong. But how did she ever get here? Was she here all this time? Or did he fall asleep? After moments of thinking, he cautiously looked around.
"Eh.. Well, my name is Dejoin."
The male said awkwardly, as the many questions were pushing him to keep the conversation, however stood silent in await of the wolfs reply.

"I'm Avis," she replied. "How did you get here? How long have you been on the island?" She asked, confused. She was the only one! There were no other wolves here! "Are there any Evil Ones where you live? Humans," she clarified.

(That's ok! My school got off today and tomorrow for Rosh Hashanah and a "Fall Holiday" with no homework! Yay! )

Dejoin ran over through her questions with a blur, not intending with such a fast reply.
"......"
"What are ham..ans?"
A pause approach after Dejoins clueless question, before responding to the other two.
"I was born here as far I know,"
Dejoin tried to be settle with his answers, but was becoming helplessly confused quickly.
What on earth was she talking about "Evil ones?" Has she hit her head?

"So there aren't any human where you live? hmm... How come I never saw you, or smelled you, or heard you...?"
Avis studied Dejoin's face-he ws clearly confused. She decided she should probably slow down on the questions.

"I don't.. I don't know,"
"I think I should have heard you before.. but wait, I do tend to hang on the shore most of the time.."
Dejoin was a little cluttered brain, however quickly turn tables with her.

"About you? What are humans? What do they do? Do they look like bugs? or birds? I hope birds.."

"...I don't know how to explain them. Come with me and I'll show you," Avis said. She began walking in the direction of the Humans.
