Autumn- likes and dislikes

This thread is all about Autumn- why you like it, why you don't, etc.

So, I guess I'll start...
What I like about Autumn:
~The air is less muggy
~Hills of trees all change color at different times, so there's many colors at once
~Apple buckin' season... I mean, picking , apple picking season :'D
~Suede boot season. Sounds dumb, but my suede boots are the most comfortable shoes I own
~That crunchy sound leaves make
~How trees are green in the center, but gold around the edges
~Geese, and the sounds they make while flying south
~Camping is the BEST in the fall
~It's not cold enough to need a coat yet
~Pie and soup sound good about now
~Thanksgiving and Halloween aren't far away

What I dislike about Autumn:
~It will soon be cold- I love winter and snow, but cold... not as much
~Sandal season is over
~School starts
~How the trees will soon be all dead for a good three or four months
~How snow doesn't come until way too late, leaving everything dead and not sparkley
~Ice cream tastes better in summer.
~No more swimming... no more summer...

I guess that's it. So share your thoughts!

Pros:
. it's cooler out = sweaters & layering & scarves
. the leaves turn pretty colors
. Halloween
. other autumn festivities (corn mazes, apple picking, etc.)
. cold day foods like chili and cider
. Thanksgiving
. our house is always soooo nice and warm

Cons:
. less daylight
. firewood (for my family at least)
. it's colder out (for me this is a pro, though)

The pros outweigh the cons for me. :]
But then again autumn is my favorite season.

The only things I don't like about it are:

-It means winter is coming
-It gets darker earlier
-School starts

I thought of something else I like- soybean fields. If you've ever seen a field of soybeans in late September, you'll know what I mean

Honestly can't think of anything I dislike about Autumn. It's my favourite time of the year with winter coming in second. I feel invigorated and more apt to do things outdoors.

Autumn starts with an A, so it must be awesome. But that's just my theory.
More realistically, Autumn tends to sadden me. The weather gets colder and the air becomes brisk. Due to my dislike of cold, I don't have a tendency to like it very much. Though, I do love the first few weeks of it. The leaves are so colorful, it brings you to a whole new universe. The weather isn't humid anymore and going outside is bearable. Overall, it's my second favorite season, but I'm not glad it's here so quickly.

Autumn, let's see...

Pros-

Cooler out
Holidays are very near
Pumpkin carving >:D
The ponies are frisky!
We have a fireplace this year :3
I actually want to wear a jacket for horse shows!

Cons-

My chest is awful in cooler weather
I'm going to need like three layers of sweaters XD
The ponies are frisky! (if they bring their energy out in a bad way that is)
Where I am the leaves don't change ;_;

Cons-
The cold. (Snow is fine, but when its JUST cold....)
The chore of raking leaves.
I get sick more easily
No more going barefoot. :'(

Pros-
The fun of jumping in leaves!
The holidays! (Halloween, Thanksgiving, ect.)
The colors!
The FOOD!!!
More specifically, PIE!
The Fall Festival!
The clear air!
Pumpkin picking/carving!
Sweaters are so cozy!
Bonn-Fires!!!
Camping!
Its just so beautiful!

As you can see, the Pros win.

Oh yeah. I forgot about being sick. That's another thing I don't like about it.

Pros:

~It's so beautiful during autumn. I love seeing the leaves change.
~The food is awesome... 8D I love pumpkin pie, apple cider, etc...
~Halloween happens, and Halloween is awesome. I mean, you get to dress up and get free candy. Awesome holiday. 8D
~My birthday is in autumn. YAY!
~Thanksgiving is in autumn... I love Thanksgiving. 8D Also, in my family, we have a tradition to go to the movies every Thanksgiving, so that's something else to look forward.

Cons:

~I dislike cold weather. I'm very intolerant to cool temperatures. It annoys me if I'm in a cold place for too long.
~It depresses me when it's the end of autumn, but it hasn't started snowing yet, so all the trees are bare but not decorated with any snow. It looks so sad and depressing. D:
~I have so, so much schoolwork this year...
