Even without the mask Erik had deformed lips and gold mismatched eyes that he couldn't cover up. He also had to wear a wig from having sparse hair because when he was born the skin on top of his head was sort of translucent. That'd be very hard to do on a dog.

But they may put masks in the CS shop eventually. Then you could stick it on an all-black Advent dog.

As the one who proposed the idea for Phantom Of The Opera dogs, I was saying something simple like these:
Black dog with white half-mask and a snarl or a rose in its mouth
One with white fur to symbolize the white dress and a black curly wig or something
maybe some in masks to sybolize the masquerade that goes on in the movie
and as a rare one, A solid black dog with the mask, but have wings of pure white to symbolize the "Angel of Music" that the Phantom called himself.

I like that better than having Erik himself.... Well, besides the half-mask idea. He actually wore a full mask. It wasn't just one side of his face that was deformed, it was the whole thing. The movies just did that, he, in reality, appeared and was described as a corpse.

Black and White Domino masks would be nice. Like the ones Christine and Raoul wore, but Erik wore what was the representation of Edgar Allan Poe's The Masque of the Red Death. That one would probably be copyrighted, along with The Phantom of the Opera itself.

And, well, 'Angel of Music', some believe, was Lucifer when he was in Heaven. o.O I'm not sure how many people believe that so it may throw in some religious matters. Along with the "Angel" part anyways.

I think the Awesome Olive's idea could work.... not really an exact copy of the Phantom of the Opera, but sort of "inspired", like the Coraline dogs.

I suggested something like this a few pages back but my suggestion was a gummy bear dog XD
If they make a jelly/gummy dog it needs to be lime green <_<;;; XD
