Dawnpaw's head snapped up at the sound of Cherrypaw's voice. "Intruders?" She yowled, running up to the other apprentice.

"Intruders!'' Cherrypaw yowled again. Fernwhisker ran to get Snowtuft. "Intruders," she softly whispered so he could barely hear her.

Dark lifts her head,and hops out of the hollow.'Where are you?'she asks swinging her head.

Behind her,Sun mews weakly cold again.

Petal stalks a rabbit a ways away from the border.

Dark Shifts into battlestance,keeping close to the tree.The hollow protected...until she dies. 'I don't want to fight you.' she says 'We came to join you.' she drops her head.

Petal creaps slightly closer to the large jack rabbit,and springs.Killing it with his weight and a bite.

Sun wakes up. He pokes his head out. 'Mommy?' he says sleepilly.He coughs.

'Stay there Sun.' Dark says frantically. 'Get inside.'

Cherrypaw advances on Petal. Not knowing she is there Petal stalks her rabbit. Cherrypaw lept on Petal, knocking her down. "Help! Speckledstar!"
