An island surround by nothing but the blue shiny sea has more on it then just the sandy beaches and exotic trees. Two special wolves are on each side of the large island, one being harassed with a small group of humans, while the other lies in a more peaceful life. Which each doesn't suspect that will become a fact, is finding each other, and learning that there not alone. Can they drive these humans away? Will they ignore? Or run?

Wolf Name: Avis
Gender: Female
Personality: people call her strong willed when they're being nice-stubborn and pig-headed when they're angry with her. She finds release in the skies, flying when she's feeling angry and upset. She hates the humans who have come to study her, and does her best to remain free.
Power(s): Can control fire (also can't be burned), fly, understands any language of animals and humans.

(The bird pic is what her wings look like, ignore the rest! also her fur is more like a normal wolf's, and the tail isnt that long. XD)

Personality:
Dejoin is care free, and cocky. You will find him often talking aloud to himself, to ease some loneliness he has tucked away. Dejoin prefers the impression of a leader view, but is obviously a little goofy. His attitude changes completely when hunting, as a serious expression takes place from whatever silly thing he had in his mind.

Power(s):
Dejoin obviously can't control weather, but has an ability to breath mist that chills whatever it touches into a thin layer of ice. He can withstand low temperatures, and has a hard time getting around during warm days. Dejoin has unusually sharp, and strong teeth along with his claws. His fur will turn steel sharp cold if frightened, and will hurt to the touch.

Avis snapped at a hand that came towards her, sending it back to its owner's side. It was bad enough that they had to torment her like this, but not even to show their faces was a mark of pure cowardice. She hated the way the Evil Ones captured her-shot her with a sleeping dart from fifty feet away. If it came to a real fight, she could destroy them in seconds! She continued to sulk in the back of her cage, waiting for her release.

The grains of the white sand sunk in-between the large paws of the wolf. Dejoin let a sigh escape from his lips, as the soft blow of the wind carried the chilled breath throughout the green island.
Perfect..
He simply thought, with no other word to explain it. Slowly he slumped down on the beach, rolling in the cool sand.
It was late summer, with the weather dropping little by little. Dejoin was aware of the heavy rain that was on its way, but for the time being he kept his position snug in the sand.
Moments passed before the wolfs ear twitch to a snap of a twig. He cautiously heaved his head up to the unexpected sound, but to only notice a small rodent scurrying across the green floor.
As the suns ray started to heat with the left over dreaded summer, Dejoin sluggishly moved towards the shade under the large trees. After what seemed a twenty second nap, he got up from his lazy position, and stretch his stiff bones, letting out a refreshing yawn.
Many scents laid in the small jungle before him, however, Dejoin usually didn't bother much with the stuff. He was fine on the beach. However, today felt different, an exciting push you may call it. For whatever reason, Dejoin wanted to explore. And it was now. As the wolf stepped forth on the lush green floor, he drowned his nose in the many smells that came forward. It was wonderful!
After a pause of just taking it in, he rushed his way through the small bushes. Noises, and scents didn't keep him curious for long, as he rushed through the interesting parts just to end his small journey.
He slowed his pace after roughly an hour, as he sat upon the floor. What was he even doing? Who cared! Letting a grin widen his confidence, he continued. It was now that he notice a strange smell was entering his nostrils. It was different from any other mysterious creature he had taken notice in the forest, it made him want to fall back. The wolf in a way did slowed his course, as he wandered around the large trees.
"Perhaps now is a good time to break for something to eat.."
Dejoin said aloud, as he lowered himself down, but obviously not blending in to well with the green ground.

The Evil Ones had let Avis go again, until they needed her next. Where was she supposed to go? She knew nothing about the world outside her island. She knew no one who would help her. She was alone; alone and trapped, victims os the Evil Ones. The took off, wings beating rapidly as she gained height. She circled the forest, coming down to land in her clearing. Avis was thirsty and went to the stream for a drink. She heard the tree branch above her shake and lifted her head, muzzle dripping shining drops of water, to see a thrush. You are free, little bird, she thought. As free as the wind. Be grateful. The only thing worse than never having freedom is having it one day, and the next, have it taken from you. Avis sighed, curling up on the ground, the thrush singing her to sleep.

As Dejoin laid motionless across the jungle flooring, he perked his ears towards a small sound, high in the sky.. or trees? he rubbed it off. Awaiting for prey to enter his eye sight. After what might of seemed hours, and undoubtedly today wasn't lucky, he sighed before getting off from the ground. Dejoin waited for the at lest one animal to jump from a bush, but to his disappointment, all was silent. The wolf continued at a slow pace forward, he wondered what could have be on the other side, else this is it. Either way, the curious wolf seemed determine to have this day seized. Before going any faster, Dejoin froze dead in his tracks. A noise rustled not far from him, was it prey? slowly, he crawled down once more to wait. Tense written all over. A few moments passed before a small bright colored bird passed him, whistling with delight. Groaning, Dejoin turned.
What now?

Avis woke up, stretched, and took off from the ground-she felt like flying. The forest was unusually quiet today, and just to break the silence, she howled, her voice carried by the wind. She wished someone would answer, someone besides the Evil Ones with their sleeping darts. She rode a warm thermal even higher into the sky, trying to break the bonds that held her to the earth-trying to be as the thrush.
