Stella crept around the corner, her eyes flickering back and forth, searching for danger. She breathed a heavy sigh. "This is it." she thought. she put her foot down a touch before recoiling, scared. "I can do this, I can do this.." She repeated to herself quietly. She squeezed her eyes shut and planted her foot on the ground, but everything was silent. She opened her eyes. There was only black street. She raised and eyebrow, turning to go, but then she heard a whoosh, and suddenly she was flying. She was gripped by something, someone... she heard someone scream, it might have been her. then all she felt was air, and below her she saw fire. He eyes widened as she tried to grip onto something, anything, in the open air. She hit the ground with a rattling thud, and suddenly she couldn't breath anymore. She felt her bones shatter, a piercing heat, and everything went black.

Will nodded at her idea of a safer place "I swear the golum shouldn't have done that, he was sent here just last week!" he protested, one of the other towers had sent him here since they had stonesmith wizard in this tower. Will was almost certain he would be able to carve a golum after being around them so much but he didn't have the time or magic after controling them. "I wish we could go somewhere safer and I'm sure if those witch hunters weren't waiting just ouside the gates we would be able to hide at another tower but it seems as though we are being forced to stay inclosed in here."

Cal nodded in agreement. She sighed, still looking at the golum in front of her. "Who sent it?" She turned her head to look at Will, listening as he spoke. "Maybe we could go underground...maybe travel to the other towers that way." She shook her head, "I don't know. I don't want to stay here anymore..."

Jordan wipes the soup out of his beard, then leans forward to listen to Aurora as she speaks. Aldra said that? Really? But the last I heard was a mandate for complete records... How else are we ever going to know if there is an environmental factor that trigers magical development? Nature vs. nurture has been under debate for the past hundred years or so, I can't imagine they would have been so foolish as all that to remove the backgrounds of adopted students... Making a mental note to see if he can track down any other adoptive students and check their records as well as Aurora's, he considers her question for a moment before answering... "Well, I suppose there are three simple answers to that question. Either they are protecting you, protecting themselves, or they have something to hide. However, the bigger question becomes: Just who would have access to or the power to order such records altered in the first place?"

Aurora thought for a moment, she couldn't think what he passed had to do with her... she was just another orphan like everyone else she had just ended up having magical powers. She didn't understand why anyone would want to keep the thing she needed to know from her. "Well all the Leaders of Colors have the access and the power... Of course the Master does. I'm pretty sure any of the more powerful wizards could erase it as well but sneaking it would be the problem." she explained thinking aloud, trying to make sure she wouldn't loss her train of thought.
