Sandpaw heard something too. He looked towards camp. He perked his ears. "What was that?" he hissed to Icepaw.

gingerkit woke up and not finding her mother mewled her eye tight shut, still

Icepaw shook her head. "I don't now." Her voice was a whisper.

"Lets go check it out!" he said excitedly. Sandpaw swung back onto the trunk and clawed back down to the ground. There, he waited for Icepaw.

gingerkit found her way out of the nursery bumbing into tigerfeang

Tigerfang looked behind him and saw the kit Gingerkit. He bent his head to nuzzle the kit. "Hello, small one" he murmered.

Sandpaw crept silently throught the forest and followed the urgent meows back too...the camp? He turned around to give Icepaw a confused look.

Moonwake nodded. He padded away to the apprentices den. "Icepaw?" he called. But when he stuck his head in, the only apprentice in the den was Grasspaw. "Huh?" he said. Moonwake sighed. "Go back to bed. Moonwake said.
Grasspaw shrugged and put his head down. Moonwake raced ack to Windstorm. "She isnt in there" he said.

"Then where can she be?" Windstorm asked, thinking.
