Jay frowned inwardly, scolding himself for making her cry harder. He moved and sat on the edge of his bed and put his arms carefully around her rocking her gently back and forth. "I know Amy, I know." he replied in a soothing tone. She could cry if he wanted to, he just felt like it was his fault that she started crying.

Amy let herself be wrapped in Jay's arms as he comforted her. The crying started easing up and she told Jay, "It's not your fault. I know you blame yourself. You're hands are warm." She could feel his two hands wrapped around her, getting warmer as he told himself that he had made her cry. She paused for a moment then said, "Jay? Make me laugh. Will you do that? All I want to do right now is laugh." She hated just laying here feeling miserable. She wanted to feel happy again.

Ali smiled, hugging herself a little closer to Daniel, she could feel Mark tugging on her sleeve... or him making his bear do so. She looked over to him, suddenly remembering the little boy was still there. "Are you getting married now?" Mark asked in a childish voice, not seeming to pronounce the letters correctly. Ali gave a little smile "Yes, that means Daniel gets to be your Dad once your back." she said with a little smile, trying to explain what she could to to kid so he could understand. He huge smile seemed to light up the boys face and he seemed to come into better focus, to Ali he seemed almost as really as everyone else around her but to anyone else he looked like a ghost for a movie, pale and see through though his feet didn't hover and he seemed happy, a huge smile lighting up his face.

A huge smile lit up Antonio's face when Erica said she liked him back "Yes, I really do. You're the only person I've met, even in my four years here, that has acutally taken and interest in me and that I've actually been able to get along with." he said happily, in truth it was much more than that, he could make a list of things he found wonderful about her but they didn't have that time... not right now at least though he was certain one day they would, when you're trapped in an assylum there isn't much else to do.

Daniel assumed that she was talking to Mark.
"That's right, kiddo." He grinned, but he knew he could never be much of a father. How could he ever raise a kid with fishing and wrestling when he couldn't even use his legs to do so? Yet he knew with Ali that they'd be able to bring him up nice and proper.
...and insane. He thought with a frown. Yes- the influence of many crazies could make someone insane.

Ali smiled, looking back to Daniel "Should we go ask Dr. Smiley?" she was rather worried about what the Doctor might say or do, but she wanted to be with Daniel much, much more than that. Mark toddled back over to the bench sitting down and opening the big book that they had been looking through. He started flipping through it, none of the words making any sense but the pictures were pretty, they looked like the things he had been taught as a kid.

Daniel nodded.
"Want to have a ride?" He asked her and Mark. He looked at the book that's pages slightly bent in the shape of a reading child's hands. He smiled and thought deeply to himself for a moment.
That's Ali's dream child, almost real and tangible. We'll raise him well. He thought before listening to Ali's (he would have heard Mark's if he could) answer.

Ali smiled, hoping Daniel was able to pull her along... Mark didn't weigh anything concidering he didn't truelly exist. "Yes please." she said with a little smile, moving a little so Mark could jump up, little book and bear hugged tightly in his arms. Ali still couldn't believe her and Daniel were going to get married, it was something she had never expected to do but she wouldn't want it any other way. The only obstical that was left was Dr. Smiley, she doubted he would refuse it, probably concider it a new 'experiment' concidering it had never been done before in the Assylum.

Daniel waited until he could see the faint outlines of Mark before moving his hands to the wheels. He pushed off, the chair inching forward before truly wheeling easily away. He wheeled away at a leisurely pace, still smiling at Ali. Every moment seemed a lifetime with her- and yet they were too short. He wanted to be with her forever- and this was his chance.
