Using her tail as a timer, Dagger counted the seconds it took Cide to run the course, as well as watching with eagle eyes to see if he missed any. Her ears were pricked forward, listening intently for any noise.

She stoped again and yheaded back into her den for a moment before she came back out and streached, her viles and dagger handles glinting in the sun as she stopod and headed off again.
