Of course, like always, I over heard his mumbling and nudged him. "Cheer up. We're together now. I'm sure everything will be fine." I tried to cheer him up but I was unsure if my ways were even helping him. "Today's a new day. Let's not let rain spoil our sunshine. Ok?" I rolled onto my belly and smiled at him. I nuzzled him and nibbled his mane.

With a heavy sigh, I looked at him confused but I still nuzzled him and did my best to try and cheer him up. "I don't know how you know you have a newborn sister, but if you want to try and find a way back to your family, I'll be at your side no matter the cost." I was confident that I would be able to keep my promise and be the best mate I could possibly be to him.
