i love firestar but after i think about it, i realize he sort of needs to die. erin hunter has written soooo many books and they all star firestar. i think there needs to be a new leader just to make things exciting

You know, I never noticed this until "Crookedstar's Promise" but being a leader does seem to grant you a certain level of "immortality". Like, by the time Crookedstar finally lost his last life plenty of cats he'd grown up with were already elders or dead of old age. Like, Graystripe should be old enough to make for the elders den at this point but he wont because you know, Firestar is still strangely young, stupid and spry. I can't wait till he goes. -_-

Not to cause any offence to Firestar fans, but I do agree he acts strangely young although his age, so I really can't wait til' he dies, because it's really getting boring and tiresome to always see Firestar as a young, strong leader. That's just wrong. :\
