Deathkit sat watching the sun set behind the mountains way off in the distance. He wondered what it would be like living out there. Apprenticeship was taking a long time to come. He was happy that at least he had some other kits to play with, even though he was older and bigger that them, life was less boing.
Deathkit forgot everything else and surrprisingly, his thoughts brought him to Eclipsepaw, the kind medicine cat apprentice. The only cat in the clan who had understood him and simpathised with him.
He desided to bring her a gift in the morning. He would ask one of the warriors if they would come with him and help him look for herbs.
He sighed and gazed at the setting sun again, more content.

"Goodnight kits," sighed Sage. He was just about to go to his own den when he heard the kits. "Goodnight kits! Go to sleep!"
