Eh, the 3-D was alright. Not as much effect as I would have preferred, but I'm going to be honest and say I was happy that it was back on the big screen. 3-D or no 3-D, it still would have made me satisfied. ^^
One thing I was most happy about was the cutting of "The Morning Report" scene for this version. It was an ok addition for the Platinum DVD, but I like it a bit more without it.
Either way, I had a nice time. Though, it was a bummer that the ushers didn't give us the cool Simba themed glasses. xD
