...whats wrong with shooting wolves? Essientially we'd be saving them by removing excess wolf numbers and giving the lower numbers a better chance to hunt and thrive.

And for whoever thinks that hunters kill pups, from what I've heard they only have the hunting season when they won't have any young pups.

Regulated hunting, in the long run, is for the better of the wolves. The hunters don't just wake up one morning and think "lol I think I'm going to shoot some wolves today :DDD". >.<
