To Seth's surprise, he was soon pelted by rain. He shivered as the droplets ran down his coat and soaked into his skin, and stopped chewing the rock to shake himself off.
Running to the warehouse once more, he could heard thunder booming in the skies above. The sheep seemed to be scared; they were baaing and restless. Seth hoped he wouldn't have to run after them in the rain, but was watching them vigilantly if they did decide to make a run for it.
Lightning striked near a tree a few miles away. Rain was pouring down heavily by the time Seth was at his warehouse, and lightning lit up the skies. Thunder boomed loudly, but Seth wasn't freaking out yet. He lifted up his head, and emitted an eerie howl as lightning flashed and thunder boomed, and the Carpathian Shepherd hid into the small gap inside the hay. His fur was dripping wet from being pelted with rain, and he was shivering all over, especially his legs. Seth panted heavily, more rain was starting to soak into his pelt. He struggled deeper inside the hay, and rolled around in it in an attempt to get the water off his pelt and make him warm. Of course, he failed, and got the entire area full of dog fur and water.
He pushed himself out of the hay, thrusting his body all over and making some hay tumble apart. He had expanded the hole by the time he had gotten out, and made the inside full of his hair and water.
Once he was out, Seth shook himself thoroughly, trying to get rid of the rainwater that hadn't soaked in his skin yet. Some was shaken off, though for the most part, it remained there.
Seth wasn't going to stay somewhere that wasn't warm. He dug in the hay, spreading it everywhere, searching for a hole or trying to make one. He pushed some hay apart, and shoved his body in the new hole he had made, shivering from the cold and hearing the sheep dramatically baaing as the thunder boomed loudly in the sky.
"Why do you look so sad?" "I'm thinking about the economy"
