"We weren't going to leave you here!" Arctic exclaimed. Then she went back to Cara. "Cara, even if you DO convince us to take you, you need to get out of the boat because its really heavy with you in it."

"Okay," she said cheerfully and climbed out, "I was getting a little hot in those blankets anyways."

FYI, Cara kind of does need to come along. It'll become clearer why further on... And I don't want to just forget her)

Mikey sighed. now she was just getting the wrong idea... "That doesn't mean you're coming."

"Yes it does," Cara looked up at him, "don't you believe Destiny told me to go?"

"I don't care what the old hag says, if you come you might get hurt." Mikey said, not to mention get in the way... He thought to himself.

"I won't get hurt!" she yelled, and for only a moment, her eyes blazed, and she turned her back on him.

Mikey sighed and threw his hands into the air in frustration "I'm not going to continue arguing about this with you... Maybe San can knock some sence into you when she gets back since no matter what Carmen say you're not going to listen... And Arctic isn't making it any better." he said picking up the boat again.

"Destiny told me I can help find the last element" she murmured, recalling that dream she had just the night before.

Arctic picked up the boat again only half listening to the conversation while she picked up the blankets that had fallen out when Cara had climbed out of the boat. She picked up the boat again and started hauling it into the sea. the cold water pooled in the water logged sand beneath her feet and she kept trudging until the refreshing cold had reached her knees. Arctic had had to roll up her pants so they didn't get soaked but mainly so her bare skin could feel the cold water. she thought the boat was in sufficiently and slogged out of the salt water.
