When Hunting
She is a very skilled hunter, but she would be even better if her heart was put into it. She has no respect for herself or for any hunter because she wishes she could've been a warrior & also thinks they are in-superior to them.
Around her Tribe
Usually she is very agitated. Very few times she will be relaxed enough to talk to. But she lays down her guard when she is around more dominant figures. Especially around warriors.

She is usually very depressed and is never fully happy with herself. She always thinks of what she could be like and not who she is.
When Flirty
Kel is quiet instead of her normal easily agitated self. Usually you will know when she is in love because she will not snap a quick reply. She will not deny her love for another when earned. It just takes time to earn her heart.
Story:
Ever since Chateaux was young, she was always taught by her parents to love the world and it's creatures no matter it's dangers. Her mother was a warrior who always accompanied Chat's father, who was a hunter, during hunts. Their love was strong, and she almost felt as if she was intruding when she was around them. Her parent's connection confused Chateaux and made her curious, making her lonely because the love was not shared with her.
As Chateaux was growing up, her parents began to teach her what they knew. First was her father to teach her hunting because he believed that they should take it slow and start with developing Chat's senses and skills before moving on to battle maneuvers. They began her first hunt, and she was able to kill small creatures (such as mice, rabbits etc.) instinctively without help. Chat loved the praise she was given and continued to show success by bringing down bigger game. Her father was so proud of her, so the bond as father & daughter grew.
Then, it was her mother's turn to teach Chateaux & she taught her all her battle tricks. Chat was able to maneuver with great speed, but attack with not as great of power. When they faced off with antlers as practice, Chateaux was unable to hold up to her mother's sharp dangerous elk prongs with her soft, shovel shaped ones. But still, the bond as mother & daughter grew just as strong, if not stronger.
Later, her father took her out hunting, with mother close by watching out for danger. On their hunt Chat was unable to concentrate because she was only thinking about being a warrior and how she wanted to be so much like her mother who she admired most. Many times, Chat's father had to call her back to focus on the hunt instead of her silly day dreams...
And so, Chateaux began to practice her fighting skills long after the other in-training warriors. She wanted to be better then the rest. Over confident, she began to practice fight with other trainees but found herself defeated every time. Her father was the one to remind that she was a very successful hunter, but no. Chateaux would continue to fight to become a warrior til it was over...but it was.
Chat was unable to build the strength to fight. She was quick and defensive & did gain skills of a good fighter, but it was not enough, so she returned to her father's side, head low.
Full fledged hunter now, her father took her out on her first real hunt with the pack. They had tracked down a delicious moose crossing a river. An easy target Chat thought, but her hunting party didn't think so. The river was deep and rushing quickly. Her father was the one to make the first move. He lept into the river and began to paddle strongly until the fast moving current caught him, and swept water over his head & filled his lungs. Chateaux's heart jolted, but she made no move to save him. She was testing him in her mind that if hunters are strong and important, he should be able to get out of the situation himself.
The hunting party she was with barked and wined along the bank, following her father down stream as he traveled--drowning. Chat was the only one that didn't move. & once she saw her mother jump in after him, Chat looked away, and retreated into the forest thinking "I'm weak..."
Her mother was unable to retrieve her father from the river. His body is washed among the rocks somewhere for a scavenger to come eat. When Chat came to comfort her mother, she moved away from her, walking out of the camp and gone from her daughter's sight. It seemed as if the bond between her parents was linked deeper than she realized. For days no one had seen her mother until one hunting patrol came back with news her body had been found by the river. They were unsure if she had tried to drown or starved herself to death. Again, the words played in Chateaux's mind "I am weak..."
From then on, Chat lost her respect for nature as she hunted--looking upon things with hate. Everywhere she goes she tries to prove to herself that she is strong. All she needs in her life is someone to gently touch her heart and say "You are enough for me"...then she will be happy.
