Nakita moaned and looked outside at dogs playing. Because she had saved Nutmeg, she would most likely not get to compete in the sled competition. She'd still be too sick. It was worth it She thought as she looked over at Nutmeg, whose paw looked twisted at an uncomfortable angle.
