Cavan shrugged and followed her gaze, "I don't know. I mean, they were so good together, it was the first time I'd seen him truly happy, ever. But now . . ." Cavan sighed and shook his head, looking down at his knees, "I just don't understand why it had to happen, but for all I know it might make them stronger in the end.
