"I didn't say anything about fighting did I?" Shark said with a growl as he asked the rhetorical question. "I only asked what you wanted" he said still watching the Dane carefully through narrowed eyes.

Shorty looks a serious look. "I mean no harm,just to ask a ?"

"Ask away then, I'm not gonna stop you" Shark said no longer growling though he still watched him through cautious eyes. He turned back to the can continuing to dig through the trashed he'd spilled on the ground though he glanced at Shorty out of the corner of his eye.

Cricket heard Shark's voice and popped her head into the alley. She took notice of the large, very large, black great dane. She stayed quiet, her blue eyes glancing them up and down. Her fawn colored coat started to heat up in the sunlight and shine a little.
