"That's good. I'm glad you're liking it here a bit. Most of the group is rather nice, don't worry. River has his issues, but it's because he's still young. When he was just a toddler, he hated my guts." Taro couldn't help but smiled as he said that. "I still don't think that we've reached that point that we could call each other friends though."

"Why on earth did he hate you? So far your the nicest person I've met here?" Erica questioned curiously. It made no sense to her, Taro seemed like a very nice person. Then again she might have been being a bit biased about thinking that since he was the only one she'd really met besides Jay and he'd annoyed her to no end with his prejudice against her. In fact that seemed rather hypocritical since he himself had two human-angel kids.

"He was angry that I was trying to win Jewel's heart. He'd try to kick my face and even through random stuff at me," Taro said with a light shrug. "Makes me rather thankful that I'm an expert when it comes to fighting. None of those attempts to hurt me were at all serious. Actually, we hardly speak to one another for some strange reason. Ah well." He shrugged slightly as he looked over to Erica. "Well, enough about me. Why not tell me about yourself?"

Lynn took a small moment for her blush to fade before she turned to face him again. "Want to race home? This will be on foot, for obvious reasons," she said with a light smile.

Jewel shuddered at his touch and blushed, wrapping her legs around his waist.

John hugged her, "Relax, I know your here."

Jayson smiled at her. The best thing about this moment, they never had to let go. Well, not for about eighteen years, anyway.

Jewel pulled back to breathe, resting her forehead against his shoulder and panting softly.

Jayson was breathing quietly, but quickly. HE didn't want to get his heart rate down, but whatever.

Lynn took a small moment for her blush to fade before she turned to face him again. "Want to race home? This will be on foot, for obvious reasons," she said with a light smile.

Jewel giggled as she heard his quick breathing.

"Alright then. Ready, set... Go!" Lynn laughed as she took off running toward the house. She glanced back to see if John was close by or not.
