"Who, me?" she asked nervously."I'm not really dressed up. I just... um..." she said. She scratched the back of her head and smiled thinking "Oh crap, oh crap, what do I do?"

I smirked, "Jack."

-Avery-
I walked through the islent hallways. I had stopped singing, now i sat down in a corner of the hallway, drumming along to the music. I loved listening to any song, couldn't get enough.

"Are you a model or something?" Max asked dumbly while looking at himself in the mirror.

Maya

"Nice to meet you, I'm Maya." Maya shook hands with Jack, "Have you read the 5th Harry Potter yet?"

I shook my head, "Nope."

-Avery-
I glanced up as someone began to walk down the hallway, feeling hope flare painfully in my cheast thatm aybe it was one of my old friends, come ot drag me out of here. But the steps receeded just as quickly and my hope droppedl ike a lead balloon. I took a deep breath, keeping my fantasies of home out of my mind as i lost myself in music.

"Me neither, in fact I haven't read any of them. I'm more of a Hunger Games girl myself" Maya looked at Avery Run and dance, "You're sister is good and dancing" she laughed.

Max

Max combed his hairs with his fingers and looked at the other girl for a response.

I smiled and nodded, "She should be. Music has been her life for as long as i've known her."

-Avery-
I sat down, swaying to a slower song.

"That's great! Does she sing or play an instrument?" Maya asked while reaching for a Hunger Games book on the shelf.

I nodded, "She sings and plays drums, clarinet, and piano. she would probably sing a song for you if you wanted."

"That would be great! I would love to hear her sing sometime but, I've got to go. Maybe, we can meet again and you can show me this opera singer sometime." Maya went to the personal check out at the top of the stairs on got "The Girl Who Was On Fire" She peeked over the checkout and saw a girl and Max talking. "Max, such a jerk" she thought and ran down the stairs while waving goodbye to Jack and Avery. They were such funny siblings. She wished her cutie-pie little sister could be as funny as that but, she's 6 so she probably only knows the joke "Why did the chicken cross the road" and other cheesy ones. Maya missed her and her mom. She missed her dog Pudding Pie (Pie) Her mom said that they were going to visit soon. She got a little teary eyed as she shut the door to her dorm room and jumped when she saw her partner has finally arrived.
(Is is okay if I make a dorm partner for her?)
