Nene: Ravyn's words, or thoughts rather, comforted her. She smiled. "I'm going to follow him. Can you come with me?"

[Tala Lakota]

Ravyn dropped off her perch and glided to Nene's shoulder, Don't exactly have anything else to do. She winked at her.

Nene: She chuckled, something she hadn't done is a couple weeks. Her senses could still pick up Rune's particular scent. Her mind filled with the time they first met, his face so perfectly happy, she wanted to see him like that again.

[Tala Lakota]

Ravyn watched Nene's face as the girl walked after Æsc. She didn't actually know all that had happened, just knew that the boy she'd been sent to help needed her again and so she'd returned.

Æsc was still walking silently, staring at the ground as it passed under his feet. He had no clue of where he was or where he was going, but he just needed to keep moving.

Nene: Her heart thudded as she neared him. She was sure he could pick up her scent now.

[Tala Lakota]

Ravyn spread her wings and fluttered into the trees, her black form vanishing quickly into the night's shadows.
Æsc turned just his head and looked at Nene a moment before looking forward again without saying anything.

Nene: She called him name, joyously.

[Tala Lakota]

Æsc froze and flinched at the sound of her happy voice. He could feel a slight crack in the shield that had numbed him and he quickly closed it up again.

Nene: Her legs carried her swiftly over to him and she felt her lips touch his in a deep kiss.
