~Will~ + ~Belle~
The first time he sees her, it's raining, and she's leaning against the gray building, curled into a ball. He could've sworn that he saw tears slip down her face, but he might have been confusing it with the rain.
"Hey, are you alright?" he asked, concerned. He had always been the nice one, the one who helped old ladies cross the street. She brought an arm to her eyes, wiping the tears away.
"'M fine," she muttered in reply, trying to get up. He offered his hand, and she took it, a slight smile.
"So, what name should I call you to thank you?" she asked, the ends of her lips twitching.
"My name's Will. You can call me that," he grinned, staring at her with unnervingly blue eyes.
"My name's Bluebelle, but I prefer Belle," she replied, shaking the hand she was holding.
"See ya around... Belle." Her name rolled off his tongue, and he smiled, walking away.
"Wait!" she called. Will stopped, turning slightly.
"What's up?" he asked.
"Can we meet here again?" Belle asked, redness spreading over her cheeks. He nodded.
"Same time?"
"Same time."
As the steady downpour continued, Belle stood at the same block, waiting impatiently.
What if he doesn't show up? she thought worriedly. As she was lost in her thoughts, a shock of blue clouded her vision.
"Sorry I'm late!" Will said, a tone of anxiety. Belle just smiled.
"It's no problem." They looked at each other with blue eyes, and started laughing.
"Sorry, it's just your eyes. They're just so... beautiful," he murmured, staring into her eyes. She stared back, and it felt like it was only them in the world. It felt like it wasn't raining like nuts, it felt like heaven. Happiness.
"Can I try something?" He asked softly. She nodded, her eyes fluttering shut.
She felt him press his lips to hers, and suddenly, it felt better than heaven, she couldn't describe it to save her life.
Suddenly, they pulled apart, and stared again into each other's eyes.
"Everyday, we meet here?" she asked quietly. He nodded, and hugged her, going back down the block.
And as the meetings became more frequent, they found themselves on a park bench, on Valentine's Day. Will smiled as Belle talked about her day.
"And Sally's fallen in love with Harry! Isn't it sweet?" she laughed. Will nodded.
"I love you."
Those three words. Belle stopped, eyes wide.
"I love you, too."
They smiled, and suddenly, Will remembered something.
"Hey, can I ask you something?" he asked.
"Sure!" Belle answered, grinning. Will opened his mouth, and look at his watch.
"Aw, I gotta go. See ya, Beauty. Love ya!" he said, and walked off.
"Love ya too!" Belle shouted after him. He smiled, waving.
Belle sat in her apartment, looking at the assortment of photos she had of them together. She loved him.
And he loved her.
God, she was happy. Nothing could ruin this for her.
Nothing.
What did she ever do to deserve such happiness? She was never smart in school, she wasn't talented, but somehow she managed to be blissfully happy.
She looked up at her ceiling.
Oh, why should she care if she deserved it? She was happy!
But somehow, it seemed too good to be true.
She was curled on her couch, watching one of her movies that she kept in her drawer. It was comforting, familiar to watch it. Suddenly, the phone rang.
"Hello?" she asked curiously.
"Is this Bluebelle? Bluebelle Silvere?" an unfamiliar voice said on the other side.
"Yes."
"Do you know Will Cobalt?"
"Yes."
"I'm sorry to say that he was attacked on his way home, and died from complications arisen from his injuries," the voice was calm and collected, but Belle's world started to spin.
"Could you repeat that?" she choked.
"I'm sorry, Miss Silvere."
And as her eyes closed she felt like she was falling, falling with nobody to land on.
Not Will, not anyone.

Kitteh :3 wrote:Kitteh :3 wrote:"How many have you gotten?" my sister asks me quietly as we swiftly move through the forest together.
"Nine this round," I breathe lowly. It's good in a way: I'm not dead. But much worse, because if I get one more, there will be five people after me.
What fuels us to kill, instead of hide? If we don't kill, the walkie-talkie boss tracks us, and sends in men to kill us.
"You?" I question.
"Only three," she replies, lowering her volume more to match mine. I'm only a few minutes older than her, but she likes to do exactly as I do, since I'm her big sis.
Suddenly, her expression turns grave, and she stops.
"What?" I ask. "Next assignment?"
"Yeah," she whispers. "It's..." Pause. "It's my best friend, from school." Her voice quivers.
"Oh.. I'm so sorry." I don't know what else to say. I never got close to anybody between rounds.
She shakes her head. "It's not your fault." After a deep breath, she nods. "I'd better be off." I nod after her, feeling sad to see my sister like this. She turns and runs away.

Steady, now. Hold your breath. Don't make a sound. Aim. Fire.
That's ten.
Someone else is out to get me now, in addition to the other four.
Hours passed my tenth kill, nobody is after me, and I've yet to receive my next assignment. I walk cautiously near a forest path; this is where I go between contracts. It's my safe place. My sister isn't back yet, and I'm worried what might have happened. So many thoughts and worries clogging my thoughts...
Crack.
What was that?! My head shoots around, my bow pulled back and ready to fire.
"Relax." I lower my bow. "It's just me." Chris, my sister, steps from behind a tree. I sigh in relief.
"So... you did it?" I ask slowly. I get a nod of the head in reply. I can tell she doesn't want to remember any of it.
"Well, I suppose we can go to the--" I hear someone sprinting at us from behind. My head whips to the direction. Three people are chasing us! "Run!" I yell to Chris.
My run turns into a full-blown sprint after a moment. I only hope Chris is close behind me--
"Amber! Help!" I hear her scream. Without even stopping to think, I turn to help her get up. She's about twenty feet back, and the assassins are too close, but she's my sister. I just keep moving, keep running as fast as I can. When I reach Chris, I bend down to help her up. Instead of reaching out her hand to grab mine, I find her knife pointed directly at my throat.
(( More? ))

I think someone else (Selcouth?) has said it before, but your point in posting stories should be for your own pleasure and satisfaction, not just to get comments from others. Not to put you down or anything, I can admit to loving comments as much as the next writer. Just stating it.

The werewolf's biggest fear is that of a full moon ...
The man ran low to the ground, hiding in the shadows. He could let no one see him here, especially as the night sky grew darker and the time of the full moon moon came near. He dared a glance up to the clouds and groaned when he saw that the clouds were already splitting to reveal the moon.
[center]I'm a big Harry Potter fan, Lupin being one of my fav characters, and I loved it, nice job!
He continued to run towards the dark and looming forest, praying that he would make it to the safety of the trees in time. Not far now ...
Suddenly, a tremor swept through his body and he dropped to the floor, letting out an agonizing moan. He writhed and spazzed on the ground, violent shudders overcoming his body as he began to transform. He felt his skin tightening, his bones lengthening, and he shut his eyes as tightly as he could, willing the pain to be over and the transformation to be quick.
"Well, well, well ... what have we here?"
The wolf rose to his paws and narrowed his eyes at the man who stood before him, dressed completely in black and wearing a smirk on his face.
"Nice moon-lit night for a walk, Professor Lupin?"
Lupin snarled at Snape. Dropping to all fours, he ran towards for the cover of the Forbidden Forest. The need to scream was eating away his lungs as he contained the noise bursting in his throat.
He climbed to the highest rock, placed right above Aragog's hollow and looked up at the moon. Tilting his head back, he let out a mournful howl.
