♥ Princess ♥

I have four year old male shorthair tuxedo cat who I took in from the Humane Society when he was a kitten.
I atually have two stories about him...

♥ How I got Princess ♥

I was going to move and I had to get rid of my cat, Coal.
He was a huge fluffy black cat who I gave to my aunt, but he ran away.
A few years later I found out that the neighbor took him in, but this isn't about him.
Anyways, my mom said she'd get me a new cat. ( I was younger then )
We found two adorible fluffy female tortiseshell kittens at the Humane Society, they were twins.
We had to wait a few days to get them though, we got a phone call from the Humane Society a few days later.
They had both died of a sickness.

After a few weeks or so I went back to the Humane Society with my mom.
We looked everywhere, I saw TWO TWIN FEMALE TUXEDO CATS, what a coincidence, right?
My mom went to the back room where they kept the new kittens (where we found the tortiseshells.)
There were about 16 adorible, I mean ADORIBLE little brown maine coon kittens.
They were all putting their big fluffy paws up on the cage door practically begging for us to take them.
But my mom fell in love with the only kitten that was in the back of the cage hissing like a rabid animal.
His name was Teddy Bear, but mom named him Fluffy Teddy Bear, Fluffy for short.

So, anyway, the tuxedo kittens.
We walked back to them, and I was trying to figure out which one I wanted.
I finally decided on the other sister, an adorible black and white girl.
So, we brought the HS lady in and she said some lady already bought her.
And I started crying and crying and screaming, "But I want herr..!!"
And the lady happened to be there that bought the kit and she's like, "It's okay sweetie, I'll just take the other one."
And I stop crying and I'm like, "I'll just take the other one." and smiled, petting the ugly like scrawny sick cat that I didn't want.
A few days later we got him, I fell in love with that little ugly freak, the cats became BFFs, yatta yatta.

♥ Little Prince ♥

I came to pick up Princess from getting spayed,
the woman walked up to me and says,
"Princess.. is actually a Prince."
And I'm like, "Too late now, he already knows his name."
And he's been Princess ever sinse...

♥ Legless Love ♥

Just after we got Princess & Fluffy Teddy Bear we got a golden retriever puppy, Dixie.
They were all best friends, well, Princess and Dixie had a few.. troubles.
Like Dixie would chase him and she possibly broke his leg.
We also got two more cats a few years later for Christmas,
Holly & Storm, but that's another story, I might as well tell it realy quick..

The Little Cutie In The Front
It was near Christmas and we were at the Humane Society,
in the kitten cage up front their was the most adorible female fluffy calico puff ball you'd ever see.
Everybody that saw her, wanted her, but lucky us, we got her.
We could also get another cat, for free, so we got Storm.
She was a skinny, tall medium furred tabby cat with white paws, belly and mouth.

Anyways, back to Legless Love.
So, we also got two bearded dragons, Daisy & Dutchus.
( Dutchus sadly passed away. R.I.P. ♥ )
But they don't have to do with this story.
Chex does.
My mom started babysitting this pitbull, Chex.
Chex was a dog killing white and black pitbull.
She lived in a cage outside in the backyard.
One day, me and my friend were hanging out at my house.
I was putting on Dixie's harnest in the green room thing and my friend says,
"Chex is out!" So I put Dixie in the house and tell her to get my mom.
I run outside and practically jump on that dog, I grab her collar and pull her back.
She drags me up the stairs onto the porch and my mom comes out and puts her in the green room,
only thinking about getting her away from Dixie.
That dog walks over to the cats, and clamps onto Princess.
So, he's tearing him up, my mom's screaming, my friend's in shock, and I don't know what to do.
I was honestly about to jump on that dog and kill it.. but I didn't know if she'd bite me.
So then I just run away, and keep running.
My friend goes out to find me.

Meanwhile Chex is basically eating my cat.
Remember Fluffy?
Well he bolts into the room and jumps onto Chex's back and starts clawing her, then runs back out.
Well, after we managed to get Chex away and in the cage
and to get me back to the house, we have to drive an hour or more to the vet.
We have Princess in a clothes basket on a towel,
he's pretty much bleeding to death.
I sat by his side and petted him the whole time.
I didn't want to leave his side, and I didn't intill the vet took him.
He had to get his front left leg amputated,
but at least he's alive.
He's still my baby boy, and always will be.

But, sadly while he was away at the vet, something else happened that would change his life.
You remember Holly? From the little cutie in the front.
Well, she became the 'alpha cat' while he was away
and now everyone hates him

Poor Princess. ♥

♥ The Clan Now ♥

Princess:
Princess is now living in the outside room upstairs, it's a screened in room great for sunbathing and getting a taste of the outdoors.
He is going to live in my room in the winter and fall, he still remains at the bottom of the cat clan, he hasn't reclaimed his place as alpha. He has several scratches on hiss muzzle from numerous cat fights with Holly, the new clan leader\alpha. He has adjusted great to his new walk.. well, hop. He can run just as fast as any other cat. He has faught through braking a leg, dog mauling, getting very thin, and sicknesses. He is a very strong cat, a very lucky one too. He currently holds two nicknames, Motor because of his loud purr, and Legless, because he now has three legs. ♥

Fluffy:
Fluffy, Princess old best friend is now a scardy cat and a food lover, unlike his hissing kittenhood. His new best friend is Dixie, the golden retriever, now a huge dark coated 90 pound dog. They like to beg for table scraps and take naps together, that's why I call them, "Eaty Buddies." He now has a girlfriend, my Nana's extremely evil cat, Siggy and he has 3 nicknames, Fluffy, Fluff, and Eaty Buddy.

Holly:
Holly is the new clan leader or alpha, she has an adopted son or boyfriend thing, Jeffrey. She has three nicknames currently, Halls or Holls, (like the cough drops and short for Holly) and Evil, because she's Evil, and Evil 2.

Storm:
Storm has sadly run away for the second time and we cannot find her anywhere. :c

Jeffrey:
Jeffrey is our new adorible kitten, who is now a year old, his nickname is Jeff.

My cat taught me to love strays. :3

My cat is a fluffy, vicious, jealous, awesome, fluffy, playful, amazing stray. And I love him 'til the end- and there is no end.

Skylark

I lived with my family in India for four years, travelling across the country; we took in some strays, and I'd have to say every goodbye was a heart-break. We lived with a woman in a house called 'Skylark', there my brother found a beautiful puppy being abused by the people on the street. He ran in saying 'They were throwing rocks at it'
I knew from then that in order for the poor pup to survive, we had to take it in, naming him
Sky, the pup lived with us for two weeks, at maximum, when we found another puppy, tiny and bony, laying by our gate.
We took this puppy in, and named her Lark. They ended up as best friends, but unfortunately, after a while, we had to leave Skylark,
and left the pups with the owner of the house. On searching for us, Lark got herself lost, and most likely had been killed.
I went to visit Sky, and he was happy to see me, jumping up in excitement. I could tell he missed Lark, and that he was very bored
and lonely; I knew that he wasn't in good care. Spending hours with him, I soon had to leave.

Only now, three years later, do I hear that poor little Sky had been run over by a motorbike.
I regret everything, leaving them in (what had been likely) bad hands.

They taught me to deal with emotion, to be happy, love life....forget bad endings and remember...someday, we will be together.

R.I.P Sky and Lark. The days with you were some of the best. <3

I think I'm about to cry now :L These stories are all touching, and it haunts me to the thought of how I've experienced it tons of times.

Well, I have my little Jackie now, and I'll hold onto him for as long as I can. <3

Though he's only been with us for three weeks, he's brightened my days, and I couldn't be happier.

Ever since we've went to another country, I'd wanted a dog.
But I think a cat is a perfect pet, and it is best to cherish the moments (with all animals, too)

Jackie's story

So, it was on my birthday, and I couldn't decide on what to get, and I've always wanted a pet, but my parents have always said no...quite right, to be honest....(many reasons for that)
My mum said to me "We could have a look at the gerbils...." and after a while of my brothers arguing about it, we ended up heading to he pet shop.

I was about to get a gerbil, when I spotted a beautiful little Chinese dwarf hamster. At the time he was ten weeks old (now 13 weeks)
and I could tell he had been lonely curled up in the back of his pen. My mum asked if I wanted to see the rest, but I'd have fallen in love with this little boy. The lady took him out from the cage, and showed us how healthy he was. I thought he was amazing, and reminded me of a chipmunk. And now, after a few times of scattering room to room to find him (escaping from his playpen)
I've learnt that he'll always come back to me, and that he feels safe only around my family.

I was happy to know he had already settled in, and ever since I first set eyes on him,
the little 'mouse' has brightened my life.
