Kendall smiled. "Same here. I was beginning to think I was the only one around here that didn't go here. Im not really fond of this one though, and if I did go to one, it'd have to have a veternarian school attatched to it."

"i get along better with animals than humans. ive never met anyone else who has powers."

"Neither have I, but I never really talked to anyone through high school, so I wouldn't anyways." She glanced at her watch and noted the time, telling him, "I must be going now; I have an old friend to visit." She losed her eyes, thought for a minute, then turned into a red fox. "You're free to tag along though."

richard shifted into a wolf. "lead the way."

Kendall smiled a toothy grin and bounded away, hoping he'd follow her. She came upon a stream and jumped across it by a few stones in the middle before heading towards a clearing in the forest. She sat there, waiting for both Richard and her friend.

richard ran after her. he bounded the stream with ease and carefully walked into the clearing looking around

After about five minutes of sitting, a yip came from the forest which Kendall responded to. An elderly Grey fox came out of the woods and bounded over to Kendall lopsidely. "This is Annabelle, my good friend. I met her when I was in these woods for the first time years ago. Annabelle, this is Richard," she told them. Annabelle smiled and barked a greeting of how it was nice to meet him, not caring that he was a wolf.

richard spoke to her in a higher pitched fox yips. 'hello.'

Kendall exchanged a few words with the other fox, then touched her nose to the other fox's. The Grey fox whispered something into Kendall's ear, inaudible to anyone but her, to which Kendall looked surprised and shook her head. Annabelle let out a yippish laugh before going on her way, leaving Kendall to change back into a girl. "Thanks," she told Richard, "for coming along with me."
