Jewel threw them back, adding a shirt.

John shrugged, "You're fine."

Jayson groaned when the clothes hit him. He fell back onto his bed, laying perfectly still.

"I dunno," Lynn muttered, unsure. "There's only one way to find out, right?" She looked back and gave John a weak smile as she hopped out of the window and snapped her wings out. Once her injured wing felt the weight of the air, she instinctively pulled it in painfully. She began to fly awkwardly and painfully down to the ground. She didn't land softly either, and hit the ground with a small thud. "Not the best thing I've ever done," she muttered as she sat up, cradling her wing when it began to flare up with pain.

John shot down beside her, stroking the wing's muscle.

Jewel walked over to him, she looked over at him.

Jayson suddenly sat up and grabbed Jewel. He sat her down next to him and started to whip her with a sock.

"Guess my poor wing can't handle flight yet," Lynn said with a weak smile. "I feel so useless now." She knew that probably tomorrow she could fly, but not long distances. It was sorta nice to know that John cared a bit for her well being. She steadily rose to her feet. "Do you think I could fly tomorrow?" She thought that she should get someone else's opinion on that. She didn't know the healing rate of angels all that much.

Jewel burst out laughing, grabbing the sock and pushing him flat. She sat triumphantly on his chest.

Erica smiled lightly at Alec and then followed Taro sitting in the chair across from him. "So if you had a day where you could do anything you wanted without repercussion what would you do?" she asked him randomly. That was what she had done when she'd try to get her mind off of.... things.

Jayson pretended to struggle to lift Jewel of his chest, then sighed, pretending to give up. "Alright, you win," He said.

Taro tensed up slightly when she asked him that. "Take out Jewel's suitors," he muttered under his breath. "Selfish. I know. Denver deserves a punch for nearly breaking her jaw earlier though, but I don't want to come off as someone who can't control their anger." He slouched slightly and leaned back into the couch, staring at the ceiling. "What do her other interests have that I don't? That's what I can't figure out."
