Sheik flicked his ears, staring at her with both his blind and his normal eye. Actually, he couldnt tell where the blind eye was looking, and was lucky it focused on her. "Luhua, i understand that if you go back to your den, he would come for you. But, why did you choose to stay here?" He tilted his head, wondering if that was the only reason "I mean, im not saying i want you to leave, i dont. I was just curious, most females would have moved, even with him out there."

Luhua looked at him, finding it odd how both of his eyes stared directly at her. "I don't really know, Sheik. I mean, I may be a wuss I guess. But, I just...I don't know, feel safer with having someone around. Don't get me wrong, I can fend for myself, but it's just been a long time since someone shown something more than forced kindness." she replied, shrugging. "I can always leave of course, I understand how feeding more than one mouth and sharing a den is difficult, I've been through it already."

"No, i actually enjoy having someone else around, so you dont have to leave" Sheik smiled "I dont mind sharing a den, i actually like having someone else around" He yawned once "Being alone just isnt good for me..." He flicked his tail, wrapping it around his hurt leg as if to protect it.

Luhua nodded as he spoke, smiling softly. "Well, I guess I should say thanks. For everything really. The food, shelter, your extreme stubbornness which somehow worked to keep me here." she teased, flashing him a playful look. "And for being a friend to me. At least in my mind." she added, yawning as her head lowered to her paws.

Sheik smiled softly "Your welcome. Im pretty sure i should thank you too. For my life, since you could have killed me so many times~" He mocked, chuckling softly, starting to doze off a bit while lying on his side.

Luhua batted him with one of her paws on the ear. "Watch it, I can still kill you. But your welcome." she teased, yawning and closing her blue eyes, falling in and out of a light doze.

Sheik just chuckled, and slowly dozed off into a very deep sleep, not moving or making any noise at all

Luhua smiled, then she too fell into a deep sleep.

Upon wakening, Luhua rose silently to her paws, stretching down in a bow. She then left the den with no noise at all, seeing the sun slowly rising. Soon, she was down the cliff, trotting off towards the woods in search of food.

Sheik remained in a deep sleep, not reacting to Luhua leaving at all, stuck in his dreams. He hissed and growled in his sleep, extending his claws and flicking his tail.

Luhua sniffed the air, then stepped on a hard peice of snow, making a sharp crack and scaring off a rabbit. Hissing under her breath, she crouched down, sensing some deer up ahead, starting to crawl forward. Since the snow was hard, she left no pawprints behind her.
