I am going to write a story, any plot suggestions and blah are appreciated. If it is criticism, make it CONSTRUCTIVE critisicm

Core-Intro

Introduction
"Can you see that star out there, Emma babe?"
"Yes mommy."
"That star is actually a planet. The scientists are building it out there, so that we have a place to live. The light is the sun shining off the planet's metal core."
"But this is our place to live."
"Yes, sweetie, but this place is dying. You'll be learning about that in school when your ready."
"When will the new place be ready?"
"When your in high school"
"Thats a long time to wait for the metal core planet to be ready."
