Emerald stood when her legs couldn't handle the freezing snow anymore. Her bare arms and shoulder were getting cold as well. She stood, putting her hands on her hips, and examined the work. It seemed a success. She sighed and rubbed her arms. "Let's head back up. It's cold." she said. She turned to look at him, the necklace bouncing at the base of her neck. She had been glad for the distraction, fighting always seemed to help her. It disturbed her how much she was starting to become like her father but she pushed the thoughts aside.

Frank nodded as he chucked the stick away, walking back towards her "You really do need a better set of clothes" he commented, smirking lopsidedly, taking of his cloak and placing it over her shoulders. But as he did so his fingers brushed the necklace, he looked down holding it in his fingers "Thats a pretty necklace?" he said, slightly confused "Did you get it at the festival?" he asked, raising an eyebrow.

Emerald chuckled. "This, Frank, is my fighting outfit." She said gesturing towards her outfit as she wrapped the cloak around her. "Jackets and cloaks are hard to move around in." she explained. She swallowed a little hard when she heard his question. "Yea I guess you could say that." she said quietly.

"Yeah but id rather have both my arms, and not lose one to frostbite" he retorted, taking his hand away from the necklace and beginning to trudge forward "Oh okay..." he answered, still confused and a little worried "You stole it?" he asked suddenly.

Emerald cleared her throat again, feeling a lump get caught and tears threatening to come. "No I did not steal it." she replied grumpily. "It was a gift." she muttered and stomped towards the hideout.

Frank frowned and quickly walked after her "Okay sorry, its just.........nevermind" he said, now jogging to keep up with her, as they reached the hideout, he outstretched his arm and went to grab hers "Emerald tell me.......was there someone else?" he asked, feeling his anger rise up even b asking the question.

Emerald looked down at Frank's hand on her arm before looking up at his face, her eyes slightly teary. She knew she couldn't hold them back for much longer. "There may have been." she replied, setting her jaw in hopes of holding back the tears a little longer.

"Emerald.....please" he pleaded, his jaw hung open as if he knew what was going to come next, his grip tightening slightly around her arm and his blue eyes seemed to darken slightly. Franks emotions were always on edge and this time it felt like he was going into overload, his free arm shaking slightly.

Emerald frowned. "You want to know the truth Frank? Then fine. Yes, there was another. Because I'm a stupid girl who can't be normal and love only one person." she said roughly, a tear streaking down her cheek.
