History: He lived his first few months in an animal shelter. His mother had died giving birth to him and his brother, Trouble. They were both adopted out to the same family. Chase got his name because he was always the fastest of the two pups/ Heloved to chase balls, and whenever he saw a squirrel, he was the first to go after it. Eventually, his owner got cancer, and they had to move. They took the dogs with them, but when they got to the new home, they found out there wer no dogs allowed. Hsi owners were forced to get rid of the dogs and give them to the pound or at least find them loving homes. Broken-hearted, the owners did just that, and sent them to the pound. Chase and Trouble stayed in the pound for months before finally someone adopted them. The new owner offered them love and care, but the two young dogs never felt comfortable there. Each day when they got in the backyard, the two would work on a hole to escape. Finally one morning, it was big enough for the two to squeeze through, and they ran away. They tried to find their way home, but the task was nearly impossible, and they had no choice but to live and defend themselves as strays. Never to find their loving family again.
