Xiah's jade gaze followed Jack as he looked around the room, back at her, and finally came to sit down next to her. By the time he did that, she was done with the peaches. She picked the knife up and chopped a piece of apple off, then set the blade back down and turned to face Jack, still sitting with her feet on the chair. She bit off a chunk of the apple slice, eyes taking in the vampire in front of her. "You shouldn't be ashamed of what you are." She said, her eyes never leaving his. She took another bite of the fruit, as if what she'd said was no big deal. He tried to cover up that he was ashamed, but she could read it on his cute face, in his smile. And the way he didn't like the touch of his own skin. She never understood why people would dislike what they were. They should be proud, no matter what. Xiah took the last bite of the slice and hesitantly reached out a hand, pausing for a second before she let her fingertips touch his arm. The skin was pale and cold, smooth. Her eyes flickered back to his.

Jack sighed, and scratched the back of his head with his other arm... the one that Xiah wasn't touching. "Its not like that... i'm pretty used of being a vampire." He said, with a shrug as he brought his other arm down and smiled. "I might be ashamed of what i am... butits because i'm so used to it that its boring." He said, as he leaned forward a bit amd smiled at Xiah as his eyes never left her's. "I just can't drink blo-" He said, before he stopped for a while. "I can't drink infront of others. It seems as if i'm some over grown masquito..." He said, with a chuckle as if over it. He glanced over to the fridge, being close to someone was making him thirsty so he backed away and didn't look at Xiah for a while but then did. He felt bad for backing away, he reached out his arm and touched her warm cheek. "I'm as cold and pale as someone dead..." He said, as he looked at his hand that was touching her cheek but back at her with a charming smile and soft eyes as if he was going to cry but didn't. "Your right... i should get over of being ashamed what i am." He said, refering her that he had changed him to look up at things in a positive thing. He liked the warm touched of her cheek, so he kept his hand there and he didn't look away from her eyes at all.

- Okay Hikaru...do you want a recap on recent things that have happened, or everything overall?

Xiah let her fingers brush his skin, then pulled her hand away slowly. "I doubt being a vampire is any more boring than being a human." She said quietly. He stopped mid sentence on the word 'blood'; she waited for him to continue, and when he did, she smiled. "You're not a mosquito. You aren't a bug, you aren't tiny, and you don't have wings. You're Jack." She said, her voice calm and quiet. Her eyes stayed on him as he inched away and stared off, but after a minute he looked back and touched her cheek. The didn't react for a second, slightly startled, but then gently leaned her head against his hand. "Dead people stink and are rotten. You aren't a zombie." She said, a touch of humor in her tone. He almost looked like he was going to cry. Did he really dislike being a vampire that much? "Just be glad...you could be a gorgon with snakes for hair or a lizard man..." She pointed out, trailing off as she stared back at him.

Jack chuckled, he was amused how she tried to make him feel better. "A vampire is a vampire, cold and selfish." he said, as he stared at her and didn't remove his hand. He couldn't, it wasn't the right moment to remove his hand. He smiled his normal, Charming smile. He chuckled a bit in his tone, he had to admit that what she was saying was true. He shook his head, and leaned back a bit but didn't move his cold hand away from her cheek. He knew that it would most likely soon be to cold for her and she would probably flinch away. He had fallen for Xiah, and he still couldn't believe it. He shook his head, and chuckle as he stopped to gaze into her eyes. "Vampires can be tricky and are excellent liars, we have no heart for caring or love but.... yet i have those feelings?" He said, he hadn't realized he said that. He was just to lost in her eyes, and he thought he said it to himself... but he was mistaken.

- Oh dear....um...I'll try to give a basic overview of everything, but I can barely remember yesterday, so...
The last thing I really remember was the fight between Morcant and Naphi. Morcant had been hunting, found Naphi. She managed to run for awhile away, but then Morcant saw Maric in the water and went after him. Naph stayed in the tree watching. Morcant and Maric scuffled in the water; Maric trying to get away, but he got a fin on his shoulder bitten. Then Morcant ran into his spikes[He's a lionfish merperson, so his spikes have poison] and got all dizzy. He ran off for a little bit. Naphi and Maric kinda teamed up and headed toward the castle to rest and stuff, but Morcant ambushed them in the field and him and Naphi fought. It was pretty much a tie; both of them limped away with pretty bad wounds. Mugga and Azure haven't posted in several days...so the characters are stuck, Morcant and Sebastian in Morcant's room, Seb healing him. Naphi and Maric in the forest, bout to go to sleep.
Auson talked to Lucy and Nadia at one point, but neither of them posted for awhile so he flew off and was chased around the forest for a few posts by Catarina. He stopped, talked to her for a few minutes before finding out she wanted to eat him[people seem to like trying to eat my characters], then he flew to the castle. Catarina at the moment is hunting deer in the forest.
Silver spoke to Alisa at the beginning, but not for long. He spoke with Joyce, who's roleplayer has been unable to post recently[she said she would in the next few days; busy times], for awhile but when left. On the way inside, he found Zach- a new person, just stepping off the heli. He was going to show him to his room, but Abby appeared, fell into a trap, and fainted. So Zach and Silver took her to her room. Currently, she's just waking up.
Xiah hasn't done much of anything the entire roleplay but glare at people, until she talked to Jack. Oh, she talked to Alisa too. She was actually with her when Jack appeared. Then she rode Alisa[who is a dragon] back to the castle, while Jack carried her bird on the ground. When they got there, Alisa left and Jack remained. They talked for awhile before going to her room and talking more. Then he left and she went to sleep. She woke up, was heading to the kitchen, and sprung one of the traps. Jack found her again and now they are in the kitchen...talking more.
Alexander has not been roleplayed that I recall. Again, the roleplayer intends to post before to long.
Rose, Alisa, Auson, and Catarina's roleplayers are active to date and are not speaking with anyone.

Xiah rolled her eyes, lifting a hand to gently, timidly touch her fingers to the hand Jack had on her cheek. His hand was cold, yes, but she always had liked the cold. She didn't reply to his first words, because honestly she couldn't say if they were false or not. She hadn't known Jack long, but he certainly did not strike her as cold- personality wise- or selfish. In fact, quite the opposite. He hadn't had a selfish moment since she'd met him. When he spoke again, chuckling, she gave a small shrug. "Anyone can be an excellent liar." She murmured. It was true; she was one herself. Nor did she love or had she really cared about anyone outside of her family. Her thoughts stopped abruptly as she caught his next words. Her expression didn't change; she kept her eyes on his with her small, barely there smile. But all thoughts seemed to flicker out for about a second, then they flooded back in like water released from a dam. Feelings? Had she been right? He did like her! Xiah blinked. She probably should be excited. Most people were excited when they found out someone had feelings for them, right? But she found none; instead, there was an unusual happiness along with satisfaction. Her smile grew the slightest fraction, making her think of how she'd smiled more while talking to Jack than with anyone else except perhaps her parents. He was something, this Jack. 'Just another boy'. How wrong she'd been.
