Star winced as Ace rammed into Blazerunner. She wishe there was something she could do to help, but with her paw clenched i n the jaws of a trap, tat was impossible.

Blazerunner yelped as he was tackled from the side. He growled and lashed out with his back claws, scraping for the belly as he flattened himself as much as he could against the ground to avoid the large jaws. Once those were avoided, he lashed out with his own large jaws to clamp around the dog's neck, snarling as he did so. "You won't get Star!" he yowled as he lunged his jaws at the dog's neck.

Moonrose smiled when Lilac Smoke smiled then tilted her head when he spoke. She blinked at what he said and then made an odd face as she looked away from Lilac. So I'm second choice? she thought and then smiled with a sigh, looking back at Lilac, hoping he didn't see her odd face. Besides, she didn't mind being second choice. If Lilac was chosen for Alpha Male, she would go look for someone else and try to forget about Lilac. "Of course," she said, though it sounded a bit off tone from a happy note. "So, let's go hunting, shall we?" she asked with a bright smile, her tail wagging a little.

Chaq's ears perked, sniffing the ground he could smell what he was after. Wolves. He growled, the fur along his spine bristling.

Tundra looked at Dagger. "I don't know where else to follow. It almost feels like we went in a circle," She said, sticking her nose in the air and sniffing deeply to try to find the scent again.

Galeaet

Galeaet watched them fight. Her tail wagged, not understanding this was an ambush.

Crying Eagle

Cry lifted her snout. Was that barking. She ran to the border and caught the scent of blood... and Blazerunner! She leapt across the border and grabbed Aces jaws in her teeth.

Lilac Smoke

Lilac sighed. "Im sorry that sounded wrong."

Ace yelped and turned to face his persuer. He growled at Cry and lunged for her face. She might have been a wolf, but being a fae, made them about the same size.

Hawk rolled his eyes and turned to Galeaet. "Attack the wolves" he growled and lunged for Star. She was already trapped so he stood guard over her. He smirked as he listened to her whimper.

Blazerunner looked up when his jaws met thin air. He looked over to see Crying Eagle and he grinned. Great, some back up, he thought and then he heard her whimper. He growled and gave off a loud yowl, barreling into the side of the dog that stood guard over Star. "I won't let you have her," he growled, attempting to pin the dog down.

Moonrose smiled and shook her head. "It's okay. I'm used to being second choice," she said with a grin and then bounded down the hill, turning around to Lilac. "Come on! Let's go hunting," she said, wagging her tail.

Chaq finally caught up with the rest of the dogs and leaped at the nearest wolf with a snarling growl.

Tundra caught the sound of fighting on the breeze and rushed toward the noise, leaping at a dog as he leaped on a wolf. (Chaq)


Chaq, caught off guard by the fae yelped as he staggered off to the side and he lunged but was blocked by a kick to the chest as she leaped to the side.

Star looked at Blazerunner wwith eyes that said to just go home. But, knowing he wouldn't she lifted her muzzle to bite the dog's foreleg, causing him to bleed.

Hawk yelped slightly when the wolf bit him. He growled and struggled to shove Blazerunner away. He went for the rope and since Blazerunner had already been knawing atit, it wasn't as hard for Hawk to break it. It took him a moment and he knew he wouldn't have much time to break it before Blazerunner went at him again. Finally the rope snapped and he was able to go for Star again.

The wolves were outnumbering the dogs, adn Dagger figured he would wait to see if there were any more dogs before he joined the small battle.

Tundra wrestled with Chaq, biting into the scruff of his neck. He yelped loudly, trying to throw his head back to bite the vicious fae but couldn't get his head around far enough. Tundra kicked him sharply with her back feet after yanking him backwards.
