Shadow pricked her ears at the sound of her name.
King stood still listening to see if anyone had heard his tantrum. (He often has then, under saddle and not. So Jake will have to be patient but firm.)

King turned his head to ace Jake. He whinnied as if to say. "Finally!" And stamped his foot and pawed the stall door.
