Hiro followed, tail high and proud.

Jaspen smiled at Zacora. "Hey. What's up?"he asked.

"I thought you liked going after large prey," Nightshadow teased.

Snowstorm paused once more and turned to glance at Hiro. "What can you smell?" she asked softly.

He stopped and closed his eyes. He was skilled at sights and smells, especially smells. He had to be alert all the time, so this was a piece of...what? He didn't know. He shrugged, and sniffed. "I smell...the stale scent of a badger, who must have come through. I can also smell the faint scent of a small herd of deer...a buck and two does."

Rue smiled playfully ,"Yes I do but you from what I no have never hunted deer so I thought we'd start small."

"Good idea," Nightshadow said sheepishly.

Snowstorm nodded. "We'll try going after one of the does," she said softly.
