Chris heard a commotion as he was locked down and shackled to the high limbs of a well-hidden tree. There was no way up or down. He would have no rescuers. He tried to speak but couldn't, and realized a gag had been tied over his mouth.

Sam bristled slightly, spinning around when he heard screaming. Cursing lightly under his breath, he cleared the space between to branches cleanly, and looked back at his warriors. "Watch him," he said quietly, indicating Chris. He brushed leaves aside to reveal a few of his men attacking. He could make them retreat, for he had not given them orders, but that would risk his own safety as well.

"ok." Saya said and choose a recipe. She finishes and brings it out. "It's ready!"

Arianna sat down at the table and smiled as the butler served the food. She smiles at Saya and gestures for her to join her. Faintly in the back of her mind she wonders where John is. She neatly eats the food. It's was wonderful and rich. The spices warmed her tounge but didn't scold it. Just right.

Kyle wondered around the castle is was now able to stand on his own and had even started to try words. It annoyed him that no one seemed to understand him but his constant companion the Sulki dog named Cloud. Kyle ran down the corridor as his nanny spotted him and hurried after him. Most of the time he amused himself by sneaking off from her.

Arowin suddenly heard shouts coming from the direction of the hideout. She spins Brander around and gestures for Jay to ride on. She quickly dismounts and sets the grey geldig forward towards the old castle to act as a guide to Jay. Arowin slipped up a tree and quickly assessed the situation. She saw Emerald and knew that she had seen her. Her eyes told her to get everyone out. Arowin then drew her daggers and snuck up behind Sam. She plunged he one dagger into his knee and kicked the other out from under him. In a matter of seconds she was sitting on him pining him down with her knife to his throat.

Rebecca gasped in thanks and then ran and grabbed her bag. She saw Arowin appear and pointed out the leader to her. Rebecca threw fire bombs one after the other at the other intifada separating them from their leader.

"How did I do?" Saya said. "What would you like for the young prince?"

Jay turned to as she heard the shouts. As Arowin told her to go ahead Jay was seized with the urge to come anyways. But she didn't she knew that with her injuries she was no use in a fight. But she could not help looking over her shoulder every minute, she hated not knowing. When they reached the castle Jay dismounted. Looking skyward at it's grand walls Jay was nearly knocked over by a rush of memories. Closing her eyes for a second to steady herself Jay turned and walked along the perimeter of the castle until she reached the back. There after searching around for a bit she found the old door the she and Arowin had used in many an adventure. kicking away the snow that lay on the door Jay wrenched open the door and slowly entered the castle.

Emerald nodded to Rebecca. "No problem." she quickly replied. Out of the corner of her eye she saw Arrowin through the leaves. She nodded to her as well and turned to find Rebecca fighting as well. Emerald longed for the sight of blood dripping down her blade, but who knew how many men this unseen enemy had with him? They couldn't risk getting any serious injuries or deaths when they had the king coming after them soon after. "Come on!" she shouted to Rebecca through the noise. They had to get back and warn Chris and Frank. She hadn't know where Arrowin had gone, or what she was doing, but she knew the woman could handle herself. And there was no way she was leaving here without her anyway. "Go back to the hideout. We need to get out of here." she finished.

(( Ok, I think I need to make something clear. Sam doesn't have followers. Not REAL followers. They are sort of....spirits, I guess? His imagination? That's why I said you'd find out who the "others" were. Another thing... Sam never attacked anyone except for Rebecca in the woods. And he took Chris silently AWAY. He is HIDDEN in the TREES and he is UNFINDABLE. This is one of his main skills; hiding, waiting, watching. He works ALONE. He is super weirdly intelligent, if not good at fighting. He knows how to stay away. He can persuade almost anyone to do something. He is not BATTLING whoever the Hood is. HE IS NOT ON ANYBODY'S SIDE. HE IS NOT AT THE HIDEOUT. Ok, sorry, just had to make that clear. Sam is NOT THERE. NEITHER ARE ANY OTHER MEN HE KNOWS OF. So we have a problem. What IS going on at the hideout? How is he being attacked? I am VERY confused... ))
