Emerald wiped her eyes again and nodded, chuckling slightly at Jay's words. "Sounds about right. Them royals can't do anything right." she said as she started to thread the string through the needle. She tied it off and looked down at Jay. "Take in a deep breath." she instructed as she moved Jay's hand away from the dagger. Emerald grabbed the hilt herself and waited until Jay took in the breath.


(Just out of curiosity, anybody seen the new show Wild Boys? It's an Australian tv show. I, myself am not Australian but my dad found the show online. It's super good!!! It's kind of a Robin Hood story but instead of being medieval times, it's the Australian outback in the 1850's. It's super cool and the second episode hasn't even come out yet! Jay grinned and said "make sure you clean the dagger after, I want it back." The giving herself a moment she took a deep steadying breath. It was very dangerous pulling out a dagger from a wound like this you could easily bleed to death if you were not carefull. Jay looked Emerald in the eye and taking one more deep breath she nodded.

Emerald nodded. "Got it." she said and quickly pulled out the dagger. Within three seconds she was holding Jay's wound closed and starting to sew with the other hand. She got as deep as possible, trying to close as much as the wound as possible. Glancing down quickly, she could see that Jay was loosing blood and fast. She hurried to finish, her fingers fumbling slightly. She gave a tug on the thread and it pulled the wound fully closed. Emerald finished up with the last bit of the stab wound and cut the thread. She tied it off and jumped up to get a rag and her canteen. She wet the rag and started to clean off Jay's wound. She handed Jay the rest of the canteen so she could drink.

Jay let a slight hiss of air escape as Emerald pulled away the knife. She gritted her teeth together hard as Emerald started sewing the wound together. She knew that Emerald needed to sew it together deeply but it still hurt like h***. breathing hard Jay did her best to keep still, she could feel the blood running down her side. Finally when Emerald handed her the canteen Jay took it with a slightly shaking hand, and drank slowly. Her wound throbbed painfully but it was good kind that ment it was getting better. Looking at Emerald she said "thanks."

Emerald looked up from her search of finding another rag to clean her hands with and nodded to Jay. "No problem." she replied with the best smile she could manage. She continued searching for one, trying hard not to get bloody finger prints on everything she touched. She opened her bag and found one. She wiped her hands on it before putting by where she had been sitting. "So where is the prince? And Rebecca?" she asked.

Jay paused for a second and said "I think Rebecca is outside watching the prince." Frowning slightly she thought for a second and then said "remind me when I feel better to tell the prince I owe him one." Shifting herself she took another swig of whatever Emerald had given her and said to herself "feeling no pain." She then slowly boosted herself up so she leaned heavily against the wall.

Emerald shook her head. "Personally, I don't think you owe him anything. But if you say so." she said as she turned to Jay. She watched her get up and sighed. "You really should rest, don't want the stitches to come open."

Jay chuckled and said "well let me rephase that, He owes me big." Then nodding she made her way to the fire and sat down. She did not try to go anywhere. Sitting back she said out loud "what are we going to do with the prince? Maybe we can give him a full membership." she laughed honestly douting that that was going to happen.

Emerald chuckled and walked over to the ramp. "Rebecca! Bring the prince up here!" she called down before walking back to Diad. "Or we could just give him a one way horse ride to h**l." she joked half heatedly. "We can't let him go back though. The little runt will tell the king where we are."

Jay replyed in a mock serious voice "yes that does sound good but I am feeling so generous I will settle for a good but kicking instead." She could hear the half-hearted note in Emerald's voice and she wondered what she had been doing before she had walked up the ramp.
