Honestly, I'm too lazy to try it myself, but I did read it and it was/is very useful. :3 I don't know if I'll use that exact technique, but you did give me an idea for another technique. :p But I have one question: How do you do the thing like on manes and such, and you can see all the little hairs highlighted, how do you do that? Is it as easy as I think it is, or is there a more complicated way...?
Those who kill sheep should mind where they sleep,
When there's nothing to hear the shotgun is near,
The curse of the farmer is likely to harm yer,
A scent in the morning is sent for a warning,
At a cloud on the sun a wise dog will run,
It's the sharp and alert who avoid being hurt and a dog that's gone feral is living in peral.
Those with blood on their paws and wool in their jaws should heed these old saws.

i added you all so now u should be able to color
Just remember though after coloring to post your post in "Colored In" so it doesn't spam up the Sketches and experiments forum (:

you can always use dodge and burn tools to highlight & shade on the color base
there are also different styles of layers that you might try out as well (:
(idk if that helped u any xD)
