WHOA. I found a free lease on an amazing 8 year old 15.2 hand chestnut mare. Jumps 3'6 and shows in the 2'6 - 3 foot divisions. Also does trail, barrel racing, and poles. You can ride her bareback with just a halter... the owner is going to college and wants someone to give her some love and a ride every week, so I'm emailing her! 8D EXCITEMENT.

I rode my first stallion and jumped 4ft in one day!

Stallions are so fun! When they listen to you. The stud at my barn used to be a complete angel, and I rode him all the time. He was the first horse that I galloped bareback without reins. But now he's figured out what mares are, and he'll do ANYTHING to get to them. One time he caught sight of a mare while someone was riding him. He reared up to try and get to her (You know.), but since he's fat and out of shape he lost his balance and flipped over backwards. Luckily the rider got out of the way. When there aren't any mares around, he goes back to his old self, just slower.

Sam sam: Thanks, I'll be sure to ask if I try that sometime. She does a lot of eventing, I'd love to try it. :3 I emailed her but have not heard back yet. My mom says that I could go out there once a week if it all works out. Oh, I won't be buying her, just a lease <3

I had the most intense PE workout every today. Honestly, my whole class was soaked with sweat and really tired by the end. 1-minute squats against the wall are not fun. Meh, if I'm unbearably soar tomorrow, I'll just walk around bareback and be lazy.

I know how you feel, Toppy. xD On Wednesday I hacked Uman bareback for a super long time, cantering over a pole over and over and over again... during my lesson the next day I could hardly function. o.e

@Sam Sam, no, The Stallion is named Junior, and the other horse is Charlotte.

For some reason, riding never makes me sore. On my first ride of the year (didn't ride from august to april) I rode Joe, this horse who bucked. A lot. And then I rode Henry, which was a lot of trotting and some cantering. Wasn't sore at all. It's kinda weird.

Riding only makes me sore if I fall off, or if we do fitness. Fitness kills me every time >.< When I hear 'Right, stirrups up!' I cringe.

I'm going riding now, actually. Need to pick a horse for the Musical Kur. Not feeling a hundred percent, so I'm not sure how this is going to end...
