The groom watched her ride off with a sigh before returning to his duties.

Arowin got up again and lowered the ramp. "Pull it up once your done." she told them before flopping down in her hammock again.

Emerald looked down at Frank, her eyes going wide as he said that. The fear was clear in them. "No you won't." she said quietly. "You wont'. I won't let you!" she said more forcefully this time. She looked away from him and her fingers flew to the necklace again. She couldn't loose anybody else, she wouldn't allow it. Nobody should have to go through what she was and she made herself a silent vow that she wouldn't let Arrowin, Chris, or Frank die.

Frank raised an eyebrow "Emerald, you okay?" he asked slightly concerned, his bright blue eyes darkening slightly "If you dont want me to die then dont fight, Leave with the rest of the hood, ill probably end up getting excecuted for treason anyway" Frank answered optimistcally.

Emerald sighed, trying to blink back tears but it wasn't working out. She wiped them away as they fell. "No Frank, I'm not okay." she admitted. "I'm not sure I'll ever be okay again."

Frank sighed as he watched Emerald cry, rubbing his forehead . He didnt want to ask why she was upset as it could make the situation worse, instead he wrapped an arm around her and pulled her into a hug.

Emerald shrank a little in frank's arms, feeling as if she was doing something wrong. She tried to stop crying, which didn't end up working. "Sorry." she said wiping her eyes again. "I just...." she sighed. "He's gone." she whispered, her voice high and squeaky.

Frank let go "Whos gone?" he asked, a raised tone of suspicion in his voice as he backed away slightly, his eyes scanning her in bewilderment.

Emerald gulped. "Casper. He's dead." she replied with a sniffle. She looked away, realizing that probably wasn't the best thing to have said. "Sorry." she said softly.

"Oh okay? Whos Casper" Frank asked, feeling slightly lost in this new information that had been given to him. He rubbed the back of his head, kind of expecting what the answer was.
